I was born in London but have been traveling to Istanbul several times a year for most of my life. I'm a laid back, easy to get along with kinda guy with an interest in travel. I love travelling, seeing new places and getting a feel of what it must be like to be a 'local' living in exciting cities around the world.
I'm into history especially Roman, Byzantium and Ottoman Empire and feel proud of the history Istanbul is home to. When I get the opportunity I love taking people around the Old City, talking about what each empire has left behind and sharing my local knowledge.
Come and stay in my place, walk around these streets, have an insight into what life must have been like in this city during the different periods of history.
The Greek philosopher Socrates has a quote which is dear to me: An Unexamined Life Is Not Worth Living
