Enjoy this colorful, quiet, private unit within our house. You'll rest comfortably in a queen size bed for 2 people, with room to relax in the living area with satellite TV on a futon that converts to a twin bed for 2 people. In addition, you'll have your own bathroom with a shower and your own kitchen/dining area with a small refrigerator, microwave and oven. When the weather's warm, enjoy a meal or drink on the patio in our yard. Need wi-fi access? We've got that too and free parking if you need it!
As many of our international guests have asked, yes, we do provide towels and sheets for you.
You'll be staying just 1/2 a block from stunning views of the NYC skyline, and 1 block from a bus stop for getting to and from the Times Square area of Manhattan in 15 minutes (we're 2 miles from the Lincoln Tunnel) for only a $3 or $3.50 bus fare (there are 2 competing bus options). Buses run frequently, even late at night, so you needn't worry about schedules, due to our proximity to midtown.

As our guests stay in a private apartment within our house, it is really up to our guests how much they wish to interact with us. We live directly upstairs from the apartment and try to stop in and visit our guests once or twice during their visit, to ensure that all is going well and to answer any questions. Our guests are invited to get in touch with us at any time during their visit.
We are always around when we have guests visiting.
Smoking is not permitted in the apartment. This includes e-cigarettes.
Please treat the place as you would your own (or better yet, as you would treat your parent's place!)
Please wash any dishes you use during your stay.
No pets are allowed.
Lori is originally from Brooklyn and snuck out to NJ when her parents weren’t paying attention. Mark grew up in New Jersey, tried another place or two, ultimately deciding there is no place like home.
After a long career in advertising, Lori now works as a horticultural therapist at NYU Langone Medical Center. That also pretty much means that she’s the one who keeps the front garden and backyard looking so wonderful!
Mark works as a Product Manager for a financial software company, enjoys playing volleyball and listening to live music. He is always seeking out interesting events in the Tri-state area.
We spend much of our time in New York City and love taking advantage of all the City has to offer. We'd be happy to recommend our favorite spot for music, places to eat or drink, and keep you aware of what we know is going on in the Big City.
