Walk into our clean, modern home. Enjoy your own private bedroom & bathroom, desk, closet; shared laundry & kitchen. 4 mi to Pike Place. 2 mi to University of Washington. 1 mi to Greenlake. 7-min walk to bus, 20-min transit to downtown Seattle. WiFi, espresso, cocktails, & a cat!
Our townhouse was built in 1999; it's narrow with 3 levels. It's the second one in a row of four. Please enter through the driveway; the second on the left. Your room is a cozy space with a queen size bed, desk, closet, with your own ensuite bathroom (a rare find in Seattle) and stand-up shower.
The laundry room is right next to the bedroom, feel free to use the machine. We keep extra toiletries and towels for your use. Our room is across the hall.
The kitchen and living area is on top, featuring high ceilings, skylights, and a small balcony with views to the south. It's cozy in the winter and hot in the summer, so we've got heated floors and a small AC unit for all weather.
Our kitchen features a gas stove, high end cookware, and a fancy espresso machine. We will happily pull an espresso for you any time or get you to try a nice cocktail (my husband Ben is a fantastic bartender).
If you give us enough notice, we will have a meal ready to cook together! Past guests have bought fish from Pike Place that we used in our main dish.
The couch is soft enough to nap on, and we've got Xbox and TiVo... Yes TiVo still exists! Connect to our WiFi and chill out.

We are busybodies that work late but are very friendly. You can join us for dinner or do your own thing. My husband Ben and I generally keep to ourselves and spend almost all of our time upstairs. I work from home so I'll be here full time on the computer during the week.
Here's more of what we can do to make your stay more enjoyable:
Tour guide - I'm a perpetual tourist and can point you to where the speakeasies, best coffee, and off beaten hotspots are.
Coffee - we can make espresso from freshly ground beans for you.
Cocktails - we can mix up your favorite, or have a signature cocktail that Ben invented.
Dinner - we are great home cooks. If you'd like, we can plan and cook a meal together. We usually order from (URL HIDDEN) a week in advance. ($20 per meal)
We can help you pick out itineraries for what you'd like to see. I'm an avid tourist in my own town.
We have a cat named Potus that is an excellent entertainer.
Please don't let the cat out! Potus is an indoor only cat. We actually have a harness for him and take him for walks. If he runs out, which happens a lot, he is gentle and easy to pick up and toss back inside the door.
Don't lose the house key!
2 guests maximum in the room.
Put all dishes in the dishwasher.
Please take the sheets off the bed if you have time before you leave. That is immensely helpful.
I love travel! I mean, obviously because I'm using Airbnb. I like to think the best of other people, and want to nurture more good in the world. I enjoy earthy coffees and craft beer. I used to bartend, so I can shake up a pretty rad cocktail. I'm originally from Virginia, living in Seattle, and a very frequent traveler to the San Francisco Bay Area for work. I have a husband, Ben, whom I love very much. We're recently married in June 2015! My friends would say that I'm a neat and thoughtful houseguest, and a natural tour guide as well as host. Thanks for looking into my profile, looking forward to another great experience with Airbnb!
