The cottage is set in beautiful countryside but only 5 miles from Shrewsbury. Within a mile of the cottage is the village of Dorrington with a local shop, post office and butchers as well as a gastropub and Persian Restaurant.
We are on a bus route to Shrewsbury, Church Stretton, Craven Arms and Ludlow.

We are around 6 miles south of the picturesque medieval market town of Shrewsbury, famous for it’s black & white timber buildings with over 600 listed properties. The town has many picturesque cobbled streets and squares and is overflowing with interesting, independent shops that makes the town so special. Hi, I'm Kim. I'm a semi-retired fifty something with a passion for walking and travelling in the UK and Europe. I've lived in Shropshire for the past 30 years with my wife Sue and we both love this area of outstanding beauty tucked away in the West of England. Though it is surrounded by beautiful tranquil views of countryside, we find that guests never get bored and there is always lots to do and see in Shropshire and we love it here.
