We had a really love stay, it was clean and a very comfortable stay and hope to visit again. The stables is very peaceful, with beautiful views and daughter loved the horses which were I the paddock next to us. We do hope we can come back and stay again.

Excellent location for access to all the nearby attractions including Ironbridge, the Long Mynd and other national trust or English heritage sites as well as Shrewsbury, Telford, Ludlow etc. Well equipped cottage with everything our family of four needed. Will be back for our next visit to the area.

Fine: nice location, clean and well-equipped. Would be a great place to stay in the spring and summer. Minor niggle, but charging a separate levy for the electricity is a bit weird (no issue with charging at cost). Why not just work out an average daily consumption and include in the price?

Réponse de Kim :
Thank you Iain, we only charge for electricity in the winter months and during this period we keep the rental cost low and only charge for electricity at the cost we pay.

The host was welcoming an ensured we knew how to get to the property and we felt welcomed. The property was ideal for our needs. The only thing that marred our enjoyment was having to pay extra for heating. It was a cold spell and the property needed heating up when we arrived just so that we could feel uncomfortable being there. We had no idea how much it would cost at the end of our stay and so felt anxious watching the meter go around. It might have been better to have an extra amount on the initial cost so that guests know where they stand.

Thank you Jae for your feedback, The cost was less than £15 for the electricity which is at cost and we always ensure we give detailed directions down to the 100 metres and a contact number should there be any problems. Thank you, Kim.

Lovely cottage, good position for Shrewsbury, and the Long Mynd if your a keen walker. Far enough from main road to be quiet and peaceful, close enough to get onto without lots of narrow roads.

From start to finish everything was wonderfully organised and ran very smoothly. The cottage was beautifully clean, very peaceful, welcoming and comfortable. Lots of useful information about the local area and great walking area. We enjoyed our stay.

Hi, I'm Kim. I'm a semi-retired fifty something with a passion for walking and travelling in the UK and Europe. I've lived in Shropshire for the past 30 years with my wife Sue and we both love this area of outstanding beauty tucked away in the West of England. Though it is surrounded by beautiful tranquil views of countryside, we find that guests never get bored and there is always lots to do and see in Shropshire and we love it here.
