Accès des voyageurs
Chiesanuova is a typical mediaeval village clinging to a hilltop and, nowadays, inhabited by about 70 people.
There are no shops, bars, or restaurants.
Cars cannot enter the village.
Parking for off-loading lugguage is available about 80 meters from the La Sosta on the Levanto-Monterosso provincial road.
There is a packed earth and gravel path that leads from the road to the Hotel.
The path can be lit at night by pressing a switch at the beginning of the path.
Additional public parking is available at the bottom of the village.
The sea and beach of Levanto or Monterosso are about 5/6 kms away and can be reached in a few minutes by car. There is a railroad station in both of these towns. Guests arriving by train can take a taxi to the Hotel for a cost of about 15/20 euro.

I am Angela and with my husband Fabio we own La Sosta di Ottone III.
On a daily basis, we work behind the scenes and during your stay you will meet Odile at Reception, Diana for Room Service and Fulvia, Margherita and Mary in the Kitchen.
Why the name La Sosta di Ottone III? A brief dive into medieval history.
Ottone III: local historians claim that Ottone III () was a guest of the Zattera family in this house in the year 996 on his way to Rome to be crowned Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire.
Hence the name: La Sosta means “stop over”.
We hope that during your “sosta/stay” you connect with the Cinque Terre & Ligurian region right here, at La Sosta di Ottone III through its décor, food & wine, artists and artisans, the sea & valley view, the rhythm and sounds of a medieval hamlet, including … the church bells. In addition, our local knowledge is at your disposal: advice, tips and information tailored to your needs for Your Cinque Terre Experience.
