Spacious comfortable bedroom on first floor of large house. King size bed with feather duvet and feather pillows. Ensuite bathroom with power shower and roll top bath. TV and tea and coffee in room. Breakfast included. Off street parking. Great for public transport into central London.

We offer comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in our lovely four storey Victorian home which is in a quiet neighbourhood. This light and airy bedroom is at the front of the house on the first floor and includes a king size bed, tea and coffee making facilities, a television and a spacious ensuite bathroom complete with a roll top bath and separate shower. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are all provided. Fast wireless internet is available throughout the house.
The house has recently been refurbished to include a large, modern kitchen which looks out on to a leafy garden. At the bottom of our garden a gate opens on to two hard tennis courts hidden away from the road. If you are keen tennis players you can use the courts for a small guest fee - rackets and balls provided.
There is off street parking for up to two cars.
We provide a generous Continental breakfast served between 7.30 and 9.30am. We also have another room listed. Check out:

All guests are issued with a front door key when they arrive so can come and go as they please. Guests have access to their bedrooms, the kitchen for breakfast and occasional use of the garden in fine weather.

Looking out at the view from our back garden in the summer, it's hard to believe we are just a short tube ride away from the centre of London! Having lived in the area for over 25 years, we can tell you anything you need to know about the sights to see, the restaurants to go to and the places to visit. We look forward to meeting you!

We are conveniently located between Putney and Wimbledon in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. South West London is a fantastic area to live and combines the best of cosmopolitan city life with plenty of open spaces - Wimbledon and Wandsworth Commons and Richmond Park to name but a few. If shopping is your thing then Wimbledon Village, Putney High Street, Southside Centre and the King's Road are all within easy access. Restaurants, pubs and cafes - too many to mention!

The house is in a quiet location with East Putney and Southfields tube stations both a 12 minute walk away (for the district line) and buses to Clapham Junction and other areas just 5 minutes walk away. Putney station with trains direct to Twickenham for the rugby and Waterloo for the South Bank is a 15 minute walk away and Wimbledon tennis is a 25 minute walk. Shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes are all on hand. The area is great for cycling and bikes are available to rent close by. We regularly cycle into the city - Victoria and Waterloo are just 25 minutes away by bike and cycling to Richmond Park takes about 10 minutes.

We offer bed and breakfast accommodation in our home, which is conveniently located for London attractions such as West End theatres, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, the South Bank, Buckingham Palace and shopping in Oxford Street or Harrods, to name but a few! The Wimbledon tennis Championships, the rugby at Twickenham as well as Fulham and Chelsea football clubs are also close by. The River Thames and Wimbledon Common are short walks away. We have two rooms available. This is the larger room located on the first floor. The other room, listed separately, is on the second floor.

Accueil très chaleureux de notre hôte, qui est à l'écoute du moindre de nos désirs! Quartier calme et résidentiel à proximité du métro et du centre de Londres.

Living amongst Londoners are two of the best hosts any traveler can hope to find. Lyndsey and Miles prove that some of London's best gems are found outside of the Crown Jewels in the Tower. Newcomers or natural skeptics rest assured: the room and it's amenities are exactly as advertised. If after you've seen the pictures and read all of the reviews and you still expect to find arguably the best AirBnB hosts in this vast city, then your instinct is correct. When you've done all you can in a day's journey around London, take comfort knowing that a welcoming night's rest is no more than a 10-12 minute walk from the nearest tube stop. We have nothing but great things to say about our time at Lyndsey and Miles' home. We wish them all the best!

Lyndsey was such an accommodating host and made arrangements to ensure that our check in was convenient. The room was private and very comfortable - with a stunning ensuite bathroom complete with a bathtub. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. Thanks Lyndsey once again!

For my first AirBnB experience it couldn't have been better. Lyndsey and I got in touch beforehand, she was also very helpful with giving info, tips and directions for my mum's and my first trip to London. Lyndsey also offered and gave us a lift to the train station, which was really kind. We had a great time at a wonderful place with a lovely host, thanks a lot again!

Very cozy, beautiful and clean room. They are nice and good breakfast but little bit early to us. The location is little far from the station. It takes 15-17 minutes to station.

Hi my name is Lyndsey and I would like to welcome you to our home. I'm married to Miles who works as a lawyer and we have three grown up children - two boys in their 20s and a daughter who is 19 and at university. We also have a cat called Tibbles.
I'm originally from Liverpool and very proud of my northern roots but I love where we live in leafy South West London. We are an active family and enjoy sport particularly tennis, running, cycling and skiing and we love to travel when we get the chance.
We are big tennis fans and are fortunate to live close to the All England Club at Wimbledon and manage to get tickets most years to see some great matches. We regularly have tennis fans from around the world to stay during the Championships and love hearing about the matches they have seen and the Pimms and strawberries they have enjoyed!
Tennis is a bit of a theme in our lives as we are really lucky to back on to two amazing tennis courts hidden away behind our house where we play regularly. We are happy to let tennis playing guests use the courts for a small fee.
As well as playing and watching sport, we enjoy music, socialising with family and friends, partaking in a drink or two at our local pub, plus reading and the theatre/cinema.
Our four storey Victorian house lies between Wimbledon and Putney, has off street parking for two cars, is convenient for all public transport, and Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park are both close by. Central London - Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, West End theatres and the South Bank - are just 20 - 30 minutes away by underground - or an easy bike ride for the more adventurous! We look forward to welcoming you to our part of the city.
