St. Mark's, is a Victorian vicarage situated in the stunning Rawthey valley in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, 3 miles North of Sedbergh. Cautley Spout, the tallest waterfall in England is 2miles North of the house.

St. Mark’s is a comfortable Bed and Breakfast offering an excellent base for walkers and cyclists as well as for visiting Sedbergh, England's book town, and the many other attractions of the Lake District and Cumbria. Sedbergh is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.

There are 3 double en-suite rooms on the first floor, up a large sweeping staircase. The rooms can be arranged into twin beds/double beds as requested. All are with en-suite bath/shower rooms.

One room can be arranged as a family room with additional bunk-beds.
All rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated with chest of drawers and a wardrobe.

Guests have access to the garden as well as a terrace at the back of the house, overlooking the Howgill Fells. There is a guest sitting room and breakfast is served in the elegant dining room overlooking the terrace and the garden. Plenty of car parking space is available.

Host advice and leaflets about the local area and things to do are available. Suggestions for local pubs and restaurants for evening meals are also available.

An area of outstanding natural beauty with pretty market towns,hill and valley walks or more adventurous activities allowing you to get away from it all and explore one of England's most special locations. Easy access to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and dramatic and attractive Lake District.

Guests arriving by car find the house only 7 miles from Junction 37 of the M6. From Sedbergh follow signs for Kirkby Stephen for 3 miles and the house is on the left hand side opposite St Mark's Church. The house is also 3 mile cycle or walk from Sedbergh.
Train travellers can be collected from Oxenholme West Coast Mainline Station by arrangement and there is a taxi service or limited bus service between the train station/Kendal and Sedbergh. Cars can be rented in Kendal.

There is secure bicycle storage available.
