À propos de ce logement
Wagtail Barn sleeps 4 people in one double and one twin bedroom. There is spacious accommodation with a shower room, modern kitchen with dining area, lounge with a large leather sofa and woodburner ! Dogs welcome. Private garden.
Our cottages were converted from the original barns situated around the traditional farm yard and have all undergone further extensive renovation in recent years.
Wagtail sleeps 4 people in one double and one twin bedroom. Guests have the option of choosing either a king size or twin beds in the master bedroom. There is room for a travel cot or "put you up" bed.
The shower room is downstairs. The lounge has an extremely comfortable leather sofa with additional seats, woodburning stove, television with Bluetooth soundbar, and Blu Ray DVD player. In the modern kitchen there is a large pine table and chairs, electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave.
The kitchen door leads onto a small private garden with a brick barbecue which is completely enclosed. The garden overlooks the stunning countryside which surrounds us.
As well as the woodburner Wagtail is fully centrally heated. For the more technically minded in addition to the bluetooth soundbar there is also a portable DAB radio with bluetooth speaker in each bedroom, and wall mounted USB charging points for mobile devices. Wi Fi is free and unlimited and there is free parking in the courtyard. We also welcome dogs of all sizes for a small charge.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate building for guests to use. The barns are in a very safe environment well away from busy roads which is ideal for children. Well behaved dogs are welcome at a charge of £20 per dog per stay with a maximum of 2 dogs.
We are open throughout the year, so whether you are visiting North Cornwall to enjoy the sounds and sights of summer, or taking in some of the fabulous scenery and walks in the other seasons, we hope you will be our guest soon.
Changeover day is Saturday. Short breaks are also available at various times during the year.

Titson is very close to Bude just 10 minutes by car. This famous seaside town has a golf course, swimming pool and leisure centre, the historic Bude Canal, and outstanding beaches for surfing and family days.
Titson itself is a small hamlet. The closest village is Marhamchurch. The nearby village of Whitstone has an excellent village store.
North Cornwall's wonderful coastline is only a few minutes drive away. Our closest beach is Widemouth Bay, our favourite is Crackington Haven where you can watch the sun set from the Coombe Barton Inn.
Nearby towns include Holsworthy, Bideford and Launceston, the ancient capital of the Duchy of Cornwall.
You are ideally located to explore and enjoy some of the finest attractions of North Cornwall and Devon, all within easy reach, including Boscastle, Padstow and many more 'secret' hideaways of this beautiful coastline.
Our nearest supermarkets are in Bude, where you will find Morrisons, Sainsburys, Lidl and the Coop. Tesco is in Launceston, and Waitrose is in Holsworthy.
If you want to avoid the supermarket crush, Asda, Waitrose, Tesco, and Sainsburys all offer a home delivery service.
The village store at Whitstone is splendid without being expensive and for 2017 is expanding to include a cafe and bar. It has a free cash machine and postal services 7 days a week and specialises in local produce including the best brews from our local micro brewery. We highly recommend it.
We even boast a 2 screen cinema within 5 minutes drive! The Rebel Cinema shows all the latest releases and is perfect for those occasional rainy days
Bude has excellent walks and cycle tracks. If you want to ride the Camel Trail we recommend Bridge Bike Hire who are always obliging and helpful.
Of course, we need hardly mention the stunning selection of Cornish beaches within a few miles of Budds Barns, while for leisurely walking, the Bude Canal is hard to beat... and all topped off with some delicious Cornish ice cream!
We're happy to say that all our recommendations are a result of many years as visitors to, and then residents of, this fantastic part of Cornwall.
Our local tourism website has great information about things to see and do, but below are some of our favourites:
Splash Leisure Pool
Bude's Historic Sea Pool
Dingles Fairground Museum
The Rebel Cinema (our own village cinema just 5 minutes drive away)
Sterts Open Air Theatre
Lauceston Steam Railway
Bodmin and Wenford Railway
St Kitts Herbery
