Of course i'm happy to help you with information about Aachen. With facts and numbers. But I can also send you off for a run in the fields or you just come to calm down and relax.

The celtic temple Varnenum is at a 5 min walk from the house. Walk 5 min to the other side and you'll find the mysterious bergkirche St. Stephanus (nobody knows exactly who built it, and when, but they took the original stones from the temple which was not very nice).
Then take exactly 120 stone steps down to the market place to find the old church Reichsabtei St. Kornelius which was grounded in °814 by the son of Carolus Magnus, called Ludwig der Fromme (Louis the Pious). So there. Enough history. Some nice cosy pubs on the market place serve local beer and other delicacies which will reward your efforts.

Parking is free opposite the house. A bus stop is at 4 minutes walk (just down the hill). It takes you to Aachen city center in 25 minutes. You can also ask to test drive UNU, the electric scooter ((URL HIDDEN)

Katelijne

Studying languages in Antwerp in the nineties was the beginning of opening up the world for me. Moving to Germany a nice step. Moving through Germany sometimes tiring. Landing in Aachen kind of comforting. Nestling close to the border and having 3 children very homely. And now opening a place for guests just logical.
I am a translator for German, Dutch, Spanisch and English. I speak also French, but only in culinary terms.
As a health coach I organise your training, relaxation and give you some nutrition facts. I work with the Let's-balance system to harmonise your body and make you strong and resistent.
As a Baufritz consultant I'm there to answer all your questions about ecological wooden houses and to help you find your way to your own sustainable Baufritz home. And as a songwriter I support musicians whenever they can't find the words. But you can also come and just stay in the guest apartment, and be happy.
