Cape May is one of the oldest and most well-preserved towns in Southern New Jersey. It has been a popular vacation spot for over 100 years. Cape May is known for its preserved Victorian architecture, for its beautiful, clean beaches, for it fine restaurants and for being one of the cutest, most walkable, bikeable towns in South Jersey. It is the quintessential small, resort town with many, interesting shops, handicrafts, antique stores, boutiques and tree-lined streets. Cape May residents are known for their gardens as well. Most residents take great pride in their flower beds and in their gardening and it is a delight to walk through this town where every house expresses its personality with its bushes, shrubs, flower beds and perennial gardens. The Cape is a wonderful place to bike--both in town and in West Cape May. There is a very large, well-known bird sanctuary, the lighthouse area, and quiet Cape May Point for those who would like a rural getaway. The town of Cape May is clean and safe and is a very special place for every generation of the family. Many families reunite in this beach town to enjoy the location as well as one another's company. The food is fantastic in Cape May. One of the most popular Cape May restaurants--a land mark restaurant--is within walking distance of 1526 Yacht Avenue. The Lobster House is known nationwide--perhaps even worldwide--for its fresh fish and just-caught crustaceans. Diners travel from far to dine at the Lobster House. When you stay at Yacht Avenue, you have simply to walk there. Yacht Ave, as the name suggests, is where you will see lots of boats. It is like a bit of Nantucket on the Jersey Shore. It is a dead end street so it is very quiet and it is a fishing/boating street with a wonderful marina ambiance. You will love Cape May--whether you are coming for the first or the hundredth time. It is one of the most beautiful, welcoming, upscale towns in New Jersey, and Yacht Avenue is one of the coolest streets in Cape May.
Please just park in the spaces designated for the house. In front of the garage and on the gravel by the front door. 2 cars can fit in the garage.
Best way to get around Cape May is on a bicycle. You can rent bikes by the ACME near the Washington Mall as well as in West Cape May and there is another bike rental by the beach--11 Guerny Street.
Bring lots of quarters if you want to park your car. There is ample parking right by the beach, but the meters need to be fed.
Yacht Avenue is the best of both worlds. It is a pleasant bike or car ride to the beach. It is walkable to the Washington mall and to downtown. It also affords you the views and the ambiance of the marina. You get it all when you stay here.

I hope you enjoy the harbor or marina views at these properties as much as I do. My family loves coming to Cape May--for the beaches, the wonderful, walkable town with all its curious shops and amazing restaurants, for the wonderful walks around quiet neighborhoods, by the harbor or by the beach or at the Bird Sanctuary or by the Lighthouse--and for what a terrific place it is to get around on a bicycle. The harbor location of these homes cannot be equalled.
