We are on a beautiful 3 acre waterfront property very close to the Fredericton International Airport. We are three minutes from the charming town of Oromocto and about 15 km from Fredericton, the capital city of Fredericton. We love our magnificent views, our private, treed property, and water access. We also enjoy the historical aspect of our home with an engraved fireplace (1892) and large rooms. We also recently acquired 3 nigerian dwarf goats. They are affectionate and sweet!
It feels a bit like an English garden nestled on the banks of the St. John river. It is private, spacious, and vintage; a piece of the country in the city.

Guests are welcome to access the living room, dining room, and the kitchen. The bicycles ands kayaks are also for guest use and the gazebo or the dock is a great spot to relax and have a glass of wine.

I am available in the summer months if you need directions or recommendations of places to see, or places to eat. I know all the best local spots. There is also a farmer's market on Saturday mornings about 15 minutes from our house.
There is no public transportation from our house to downtown Fredericton. You would need to use a taxi service which costs between $20-25.00.
No smoking inside house (if outside, pick up cigarette butts).

I am an English teacher so I love, love, love to read! I also love my 150 year old house on the banks of the Saint John River just outside Fredericton, N.B. I do not enjoy winter, but my days for winter travel are limited to December and the March break, (since I have students to teach). I love to travel anywhere there is sunshine and beaches where I can relax, enjoy the view, and read. I also love to hike, bike, and kayak. My goal is to someday visit Europe, as I've only traveled in Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean so far.
My husband and I love meeting new people and have hosted people from places such as: Mexico, Brazil, Bangladesh, Japan, Austria, and of course, Canada.
I have three grown children: two sons and one daughter, a dog named Fudge, and a cat named Sassy.
