Located just south of midtown, and near most of the best parts of the city, this is a private bedroom with shared living spaces including a full bathroom, kitchen, laundry facilities, and back deck with a fire pit that also offers close access to the bus line, trail systems, and the university.
The guest space is a private and fully furnished bedroom that includes plenty of storage space, and when the weather is right, lots of light. It contains a twin bed, but there is room for another to sleep on the floor, if desired, for additional cost.
Accès des voyageurs
Outside of the master bedroom, you'll have full access to the house.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
I will be available to offer help throughout your stay.
Henry, my cat lives here too, but you can keep him out of the guest bedroom.
Welcome! Thank you for giving respect to my property.
In addition to the listed house rules, please note:
1. The room has one twin bed; unless guest agrees to pay an additional fee, no additional guests are allowed.
2. Shoes are not to be worn around the house; there is space in the entryway for your shoes. I'm just trying to protect my wood floors!
Thanks so much!
I love to travel, and meet fellow travelers/new people so it is great how AirBnB brings me closer to like-minded people! Being social with others is important to me; however, during your stay at Lauraland, I also feel it's important that you have your own space, peace, and quiet as you need it, and likewise for myself. I will be here to answer questions, have conversations, and maybe even share a meal or two if we so desire, but I will also carry on with my own life, and leave you to do the same.
A few of my favorite things: Alaska, travel, skiing, biking, hiking, cabin/backpacking trips, coffee, beer, music, cuisine/cooking, and photography. I'm also into writing and words in all formats so I enjoy blogging, reading, and exploring my language in many ways. Alaska has taught me to also love fishing and winter cabin trips. I was born and raised in Georgia, but have lived all over Alaska for almost 22 years and I don't regret a second of it!
Life Motto: Work Hard. Play Hard. Rest. Repeat.
Cheers everyone! Even if you don't stay with me, I do hope you have a wonderful Alaskan adventure!
