We booked the property at the last minute for a few days away in Devon and had a lovely time. Alona responded to the booking request very promptly and was very friendly and helpful. The property itself is tucked away, just outside of Widecombe-in-the-Moor, just down the road from a small pub where we had dinner on our first night. We did struggle to find the property as it's so tucked away and with no mobile phone coverage we couldn't call for directions. Fortunately a very friendly local helped us out and pointed us in the right direction! The facilities were excellent with a spacious living/dining room with wood burner stove and a small, but very well equipped kitchen. The bedroom upstairs is very spacious, the super-king bed was very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was clean and modern. I'd say that the photos don't do the property justice as it's even nicer in person! There's reasonably high speed wi-fi at the property, which was essential for me to be able to do a bit of work in the evenings, but there's no mobile phone coverage in the property, village or the general area. I guess my only negatives (and minor ones at that) are that the blind on the roof light in the bedroom didn't cut out the light, so you might wake early with the light in the summer months (not a problem for us as our baby son did that for us anyway!) and the TV is an old CRT model with no HDMI input, so I couldn't plug in my iPad to watch a movie I'd bought with me (there's a DVD player, but I didn't have the DVD!). Overall it was a great stay in a lovely property, which I'd recommend to anyone!
