A rustically luxurious 18th Century self-catering retreat in the heart of the South West. Sympathetically restored to provide its guests with a traditional country holiday cottage experience with some subtle luxuries.
The Cider Mill is a comfortable two bedroom holiday cottage offering stylish and flexible living. The cottage is complete with spacious kitchen, calming décor, luxurious bedrooms amid vaulted ceilings.
Outside the self contained garden (next door to owners, Alex and Sophie) is parking space for two cars and plenty of space for little ones to play. The patio is fully equipped with dining table, chairs & barbecue perfect for summer dining. There is a sandpit together with wooden playtower complete with firemans pole and slide.
With thoughtful touches and modern conveniences throughout guests can be sure of a relaxing and rejuvenating stay whatever the weather.

The cottage is located within the owners grounds and access is via the main house driveway. However, although adjacent to owners garden it is separated by mid height dry stone wall with mature planting and full height slatted fence. Garden and parking area completely self contained.

Being an old 18th Century Cottage we do have some low ceilings so probably not suitable if your are over 6ft 2" tall!

1. Arrival and Departure
The Cider Mill will be available to you from 2.00pm on the arrival day. The cottage must be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure in order that cleaning can take place in preparation for new guests.
Cars must be parked within the confines of The Cider Mill and not on the owners' driveway.
3. Guest obligations
a. We regret that smoking, pets and more than 4 guests, excluding babies in cots, are not permitted.
b. Any breakage, loss or damage must be reported and paid for.
c. The Cider Mill offers an ‘Honesty Cupboard' stocked with cereals and other food items. Please ensure monies for items used is placed in the moneybox provided
d. The guest undertakes to permit us reasonable access to the property but we will endeavour to do so only if essential and when convenient to the guest.
e. The accommodation is for the sole use of guests listed in the booking.
f. The guest undertakes not to cause any annoyance to our neighbours.
g. If, in the opinion of the owners of The Cider Mill, any guest is not suitable to remain on the premises because of unreasonable behaviour or damage, the guest may be asked to leave their accommodation and no refund shall be due.
Whilst we do have cleaners we do ask that you leave the house as clean and tidy as you can without resorting to a full clean.
We expect you to:
a.Ensure the hob, grill and kitchen generally are clean
b.Washing up to be done and dishwasher turned on
c.Toys and games put away tidily in the boxes as found
A special 'Get Up and Go' service to including dishwashing, kitchen cleaning and general tidying up is available at £15.00 but should be booked in advance.
All rubbish to be left in bins outside and sorted accordingly:
•Black bin – tin, paper, hard plastic
•Blue bin – general household rubbish
•Green box – glass
•Compost – brown food bin
The Cider Mill is not to be held responsible for the loss of any valuables left on or around the premises and is not liable for any damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience whether to person or property which may be sustained in or around the property.
Guests must accept responsibility for their own and their children's safety inside the property and when outside.
