Holiday home "Marijana" , a newly renovated , traditional Istrian stone house, is located in Ližnjan, a village just 8km far from an ancient city Pula.
This charming stone cottage is more than 300 years old. With its private garden, it is a great destination for families or a group of friends who want to explore Istria. The atmosphere is romantic and cosy, eclectically furnished with objects picked up at antique markets. The house stone walls are 60 cm thick, and no matter how warm it is outside, they always provide cool atmosphere inside the house.
The ground floor features tiled floors , a kitchen, and a comfortable sitting room with a large sofa, flat-screen TV and a dinning area. The kitchen has a large fridge, freezer, glass ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee machines, kettle and a dishwasher. Also, there is a bathroom on the ground floor with a shower, washbasin, toilet and a washing machine.
Ground floor stone steps will take you to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms and a bathroom. Each bedroom is uniquely designed, one with double bed and the other with two single beds. Wooden staircase will take you to the second floor, attic room, the most appealing room in the whole house.This charming room features a bathroom, king size bed and a sofa bed by day which could be turned into a double bed that can accommodate two more guests. . Both bathrooms, on the first and second floor are equipped with shower, washbasin and toilet. Beautiful details such as wood beamed ceilings, wooden and ceramic floors and comfortable furniture create a soothing atmosphere throughout the whole house.
The garden has been restored with extensive stone work. Olive, laurel, pomegranate and old fig trees are planted and they provide a very private and peaceful atmosphere. This beautiful space is equipped with a gas BBQ and an old butcher table that accomodates all guests who can enjoy a gourmet dinner amid the fragraqnce of rosemary and lavednder bushes.
Clean bedding and towels are provided weekly. Kids are welcome; on a request we provide a baby bed. Wi-fi is included.

Ližnjan and its seas are drawn on the maps of many windsurfers and divers who consider it one of the best and most beautiful locations for their passion and it is also unique destinations for coastal cycling routes through landscapes of exceptional beauty. Ližnjan offers active holidays lovers a center for a horseback riding. 7000 year old archeological sites are witness to the fascinating history of Ližnjan, which was first mentioned in 1149 as Lisianum. There are the remains of Roman villas, pieces of amphoras and old sunken ships which are still found underwater. The old lighthouse, which still shows the way to sea travelers and ancient churches bring extra charm to this typical Mediterranean village.

Hi, I am Marijana. I spent whole childhood in my old house during summer holidays so it has been renovated with a lot of love. I am a pharmaceutical engineer who like hiking and think that it is a great way to appreciate nature. I take yoga classes and travel as often as possible, adore jazz or music of minimalist composers depend on mood.
