The light, bright and open living area flows into the patio and pool area creating a sense of openness not often found in similar mid-century homes. A complete outdoor kitchen, lounge and dining area expand your living area and doubles the living space. Relax in the spa, gather round the fire pit in the evening or take a swim in the refreshing pool (pool heat is an optional/additional charge. See house rules for additional information) with waterfall(s). With a TV on the patio, you won’t even have to sacrifice outdoor living for a sporting event; you’ll enjoy them both here! Misters ensure you are comfortable and refreshed even in the summer. Newly created private outdoor lounge areas off each bedroom give you a private area to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an intimate moment to curl up with a book or that special someone.

As you enter thru the private, gated courtyard you are struck by the sense of openness and light. From the marble floors, floor to ceiling windows, the Wenge/Stainless/Caeserstone kitchen or the large open living area with fireplace and super-slim 52” Internet enabled LED TV with surround-sound stereo, you feel like you’ve walked into a high end boutique hotel. There are queen sized beds in the master and second bedrooms, and two twins in the third that easily convert to a king size bed if needed. Each guest is met at check-in. You`ll be shown around the house and how to work any specific technological features. The property manager is available throughout your entire stay, whether it be about assistance in the home, directions around town or recommendations for dinner.
Arrangements will be made prior to arrival as to specific times; the same with check-out.

Located in historic Racquet Club Estates, the birthplace of the Alexander mid-century aesthetic, you`re just minutes from downtown, the airport and restaurants.

There are several taxi companies as well as Uber available for guests to use. Palm Springs also has a trolley system called "The Buzz" with convenient strops along a main route through town and downtown. Feel free to search it online or ask the property manager for more information.

Palm Springs City Ordinance states that the minimum age of a renter must be 25 or older.

A $500 Refundable Damage Deposit is required.
Property Damage Insurance (PDP) is a required $79 or $99 charge and is not optional. This fee covers either a $3000 or a $5000 Damage Protection for accidental damages and based on the individual property needs.

Reservations booked within 24 hours of arrival require approval from manager. Arrivals and departures on major Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years) require approval and acceptance by management.

Check-in is between 2pm-5pm (contingent upon housekeeping and home availability)
Check out by 10am.

Early check-in, late checkout may be available for an additional fee.

House is not child proof; the pool is not separated from the house. (Extra consideration needed for children under 8).

No refund will be given for early departures

Each guest is expected to be as good a neighbor as the owner(s) themselves. It should be noted the city has sound ordinances that are strictly enforced. There is no outdoor amplified sound (no outside music).

No Smoking Only. Smoking is permitted outdoors ONLY! Guests who smoke outdoors are expected to keep their debris collected and disposed of before departure. Smoking inside the home is strictly prohibited and doing so will result in loss of security deposit.

Pet(s) are welcome (at certain properties) with prior notice to management. Dog(s) only please. No cats. Please confirm with management if pets are allowed at your selected home.

Pool heat is an optional, daily charge. Pool heat is not necessary year-round (usually needed late October - early June and ranges from $49-$69/day based on pool size, depth and location). Check with manager for published rate – it is added after confirmation from AirBNB’s Resolution Center.

A Cleaning Fee will be charged and is based on a one time cleaning upon the departure of the guest and is is published under Pricing for each property.

Throughout the stay, property should be maintained in the same condition as presented at arrival. Trash and recycling should be removed and place outside in the containers provided throughout the stay. At checkout take any remaining items to the trash or recycling bins and place remaining dishes in the dishwasher.

Any commercial photography or filming requires pre-approval and additional fees.

This was one of the best vacation stays we've ever had. The Butterfly House is exactly as pictured and even better in person. The house, pool and Whirlpool meticulously clean -we barbecued and cooked -everything was so easy and relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet, lovely and very convenient. And Scot was not only accommodating and helpful but also delightful. Everything about this stay was fantastic!

Craig and Scott were super accommodating and flexible with our arrival and departure. We got into town early and they allowed for early check-in, and gave us a nice personalized tour of the place and how to operate all of the fantastic home audio/video equipment as well as great local tips. Can't wait to stay with them again.

So perfect !! This was our first arbnb experience and it was great ... The house was great same as pictures or more .. Scott was a perfect host he help us in everything we need .. We love Palm Springs and definitely come back

Scott and Craig were excellent communicators throughout this entire process. I had questions that weren't necessarily covered in the description and they were very very prompt in responding. The house is absolutely wonderful -- well done inside and out. We were looking for a mid-century house so this was perfect. The pool and backyard are what sold us from the photos but know that the house is even better in person. The only drawback, the master bedroom bed is small-ish (it's a smaller queen) so tough to sleep two people on it who are accustomed to a king bed. We will would definitely stay here again. This was a great first Airbnb experience all the way around.

Wow, just spent 4 nights and it was the most relaxing time ever. This house was exactly as in the pictures, but even better. We went with another couple for a few days of cooking and relaxation and it is exactly what we did. Anything that you could possibly want in a kitchen is in the house, the only thing we brought in was a sous vide. We decided to have the pool heated because it was a little overcast the first few days and it was worth the money, otherwise we wouldnt have spent so much time in it. The one thing that sucked was that the night that we decided to go into the hot tub it was like 110 degrees. I'm sure I could have text Scott, the property manager to fix it- ( I had text him before with a question and he texted back immediately) but I didn't want to bother him and we just didn't end up going in again since the pool was warm. To sum it up - if you're in Palm Springs, this is the place to rent.
