Normally I would say that I’m sorry that my guests didn’t appreciate Casa Serena, but this time I’m really speechless.
This is the message that the guests sent me just a few hours before the review: “Again, thank you. The house and the area is really beautiful. We would have loved to stay the whole time, but it just doesn’t work for us in the summer. Maybe in the spring or fall :-)”.
Also, they said that the only reason that made them leave was the hot weather (they came in the hottest week in Italy’s summer, but I can surely tell that the house is made of stone, built centuries ago so that the temperature is quite cool all the year).
And when I welcomed the family (for about 30 minutes) they were nice. I showed them every room of the house, they were excited and spent some very beautiful words about it. I asked if everything was okay and they said nothing.
I’ve spent many hours (with the help of another person) to clean carefully and personally the whole house.
I can say that I’ve checked everything but I couldn’t find anything that they described: I wash the shower curtain in the washing machine every time; there was no smell of urine (but when I checked the house I found the huge amount of water they threw on the floor, that took 4 mops and an entire day to dry out…); the kitchen is quite good for a family on holidays (and the equipment is not “old”: I’ve just put some beautiful antiques from the last century on show that are not likely to use; the real kitchen equipment is in the closet); there are 3 other big parking lots that I've listed for you in the map you receive by message when you book…
I won’t spend any other time answering to these comments that are completely false. I can assure you that the house is very clean, and I will continue to improve the quality I give to my hosts. I’m sorry to my guests that wrote this, I’d like to understand why they would do this.
I could go on for hours, but the truth is that the house needs to be appreciated in other way: by seeing the panorama from the windows; spending a relaxing hour in the garden or on the terrace, or exploring the town and the near wonders of Tuscany.
I invite you all to notice and enjoy these joys of life by seeing Casa Serena in person: I'm ready and exicted to welcome new guests (and old guest, if you’d like to return as you said you wanted).
I’m sure I’ll enjoy one hundred more positive experience, and this one little bad experience won’t drag Casa Serena down. I'll wait for new and passionate guest that will surely enjoy the house like it deserves to be enjoyed. And if you think you're ready to live a beautiful and romantic experience, you should come to Casa Serena. :-)
