This two story century old wood farmhouse is beautifully situated on 120 acres of property, a mix of forest, fields, pasture and plantation. The topography is varied and hikeable. Roads to the property are paved and dirt, typical of mountain roads in a rural environment and are kept clear and plowed in the winter months. The property feels isolated but is actually comfortably close to shopping and services. Delhi is less than 10 minutes away. There you will find a supermarket, hospital, golf course, restaurants, gas stations, and gift shops. Andes is 15 minutes away. Original yellow pine wood floors are warmed with hot water radiant heat. A wood pellet stove gives firelight and additional heat throughout . Upstairs are hot water radiators in each room which warm quickly and maintain a cozy and comfortable temperature in the coldest conditions.
The ground floor is an open plan around a central staircase and one bathroom with original claw foot tub. The kitchen area has a 6 burner Viking gas stove, Bosch dishwasher and under-counter fridge. There is a standard size refrigerator/freezer downstairs in the basement.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, 1 with a queen size bed, 1 with a full-size bed and 1 with bunkbeds. Also available are 2 queen size air matrresses. Also upstairs is 1 bathroom with a roomy walk-in shower.
