This is a 1950's house that has been added onto and completely remodeled, and includes a basement and attic loft. We do live in the house, but rent it out when we're away. You'll have plenty of un-cluttered space to relax in. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and pots and pans. The toy closet is full of games and toys for a variety of ages. College-aged kids still like to come over and play with the Nerf guns and light-sabers!
You'll have the run of the whole house. Please practice common-sense safety on the indoor play equipment. Slide and zipline can accommodate a maximum of 250 pounds. We'll provide written instructions for the ceiling-mounted projector and movie screen. We do NOT have cable TV, but movies and TV shows are downloadable with the Roku.

I'm the mom in a family that loves to spend time together! We've visited many exciting parts of the world, and we've visited practically every corner of the Bay Area, seeking out the world's best ice-cream, best trees to climb and best hiking trails. Our two kids are now in college, and we'll use any excuse to go and visit them!
We have had many families stay at our house over the years. In the pre-Airbnb era we simply invited friends-of-friends to stay at our house when we were gone. In an area with an acute housing shortage, it seemed crazy to leave our house vacant when we were away on a trip. So we've hosted many families who were moving into the area and looking for permanent housing, grandparents visiting their grandchildren, or families visiting during the holidays. We're always happy to let others enjoy the house, and we're especially excited to give kids the opportunity to have some fun in a unique setting!
