This very well presented, bright, spacious, 1 bedroom ground floor accommodation is situated in the heart of Edinburgh City Centre. The property is conveniently located on High Riggs which is in the Castle Terrace and Grass Market/Tollcross area of the City Centre. This is also near to Lothian Road and Haymarket train station, Princes Street, and and also The Royal Mile.

The property is situated close to great local amenities such as shops, restaurants, cafes in the Grassmarket/Tollcross area, Edinburgh Castle, Hollyrood palace, Hollyrood Parliament, The famous Arthur's seat, Royal mile The Meadows, National museum of Scotland and many more. This is a great central location to easily access everything the City has to offer.

There is a Sainsburys mini market right outside the apartment. I think it closes at 10pm. There are Tesco Express and Scotmid stores on Lothian Road aswell as other shops where you can purchase a variety of essential items which you may want. There is a Newsagent on Spittal street around the corner. There is a Starbucks coffee Establishment on Bread street where it joins onto Lothian road. There is a good selection or bars and resturaunts. I believe there is a farmers market in the area at weekends aswell.

The apartment is close to Haymarket train station. Also there are Regular buses in the area. Phone number for Edinburgh Central Taxis is . But to be honest, the most fun way to explore the area is by walking. You can get to The Royal Mile easily if you go towards the Grassmarket side and then go left up W Bow street. The Royal Mile can then get you to The castle, or Hollyrood parlainment/Arthurs seat, and also if you go down Cockburn street This takes you to Princes street. From there you can explore Rose street, George street, and Leith Walk
However, if you chose to continue your walk along Grassmarket, this takes you to Cowgate, and is another interesting way to get to Hollyrood.
From the apartment you can easily access Princes street gardens and take a walk around the back of the castle if you go along Spittal street. To access Princes street gardens then go through the gate on the left at the end of Spital street/Castle terrace. This is another nice way to get to Princes street. Alternatively you can just go via Lothian road. Either way, its a good short walk. If you decide to walk around the castle via Johnstone Terrace then this is another beautiful way to get to the Royal Mile. So please have a look at map and you will see the variety of options available for getting around and exploring Edinburgh City centre in different ways

Please refrain from smoking inside the property
No pets allowed

Please do not feed the birds outside the living room window because they start knocking on the window and making noise wanting more food and making toilet mess on the window. If you want to feed birds,squirrels, ducks then this is great and very kind, there are plenty locations to enjoy this, but please not outside the living room window because I do not want them to become a nuisance making noise for the next guest :)

I would really appreciate if you could please leave the apartment as you find it. Please put things back to where they belong. Please turn off the hot water and heating. Please take out your garbage bags out and put them in the big bins outside when you leave.

Please do not flush things such as wet wipes down the toilet, to avoid blocking the drains.

Please have respect and consideration for neighbours throughout your stay, and please leave the apartment clean and tidy when you leave because I work full time and dont have a lot of time to clean, and sometimes I have someone interested in moving in the next day

Also if something stops working or you accidentally break something, please let me know so I can be prepared and have it repaired/replaced asap for you/the next guest.

Lieu sympa et bien situé pour un City break

L'appartement à été très bien et suffisant pour notre séjour de 3 nuits. Il est nié situé et permet facilement d'accéder à beaucoup d'endroits et de commerces à pied. Cependant, le point négatif reste le bruit de la rue la nuit ainsi que le manque de chaleur dans l'appartement. Les 2 radiateurs ne suffisaient pas pour réchauffer suffisamment les pièces et il faisait froid. Heureusement que le lit et la couette sont chaudes et épaisses. Malgré ces petits points négatifs, la communication avec Ali s'est très bien passé, pas de problème à ce niveau là. Heureusement qu'il nous a bien expliqué comment se rendre à l'appartement vu que air bnb avait mal indiqué sur la carte. Je recommande tout de même cet appartement pour dès séjour touristique en couple.

Excellent weekend a Edimbourg. Tres bon rapport qualite prix. Tout peut etre fait a pied. Logement tres bien pour un.weekend A.noter, il ny a pas de salle deau mais vraiment juste une cabine de douche et le frigo fuit. La tele est tres petite mais le.wifi nickel. Arrivée/depart tres facile avec la keybox a lentree de lappart qui permet detre vraiment libre.

L'appartement est petit mais très bien situé, le centre est à 3 minutes à pied. Malheureusement, la télé et la machine à laver ne marchaient pas. Le lit est un peu petit. Ali nous a très bien accueillies et a répondu à nos questions. C'est un bon appartement si on y fait qu'y dormir.

L'appartement d'Ali est bien situé, on a pu tout faire à pied mais malheureusement trop bruyant surtout les soirs de week-end. La cuisine est fournie mais il n'y a pas de table pour manger (obliger d'utiliser la table de la TV). Le lit n'est pas des plus confortable.

Very clean, basic accommodations in a convenient, central location. Ear plugs are helpful at night to cut out street noise.

The situation is very good and the contact with Ali is also good. However: - When we use the shower for the first time, there was a BIG bunch of hair. Disgusting! Respect to the kitchen, we used it only one night because it was very dirty too, the pots were black!! The main heator didn't work and when we told him about that he told us that he wasn't in Edimbourgh and he would fix it when he returned. So, the apartement was like an igloo. There were other 4 small heators, but just one worked.
