À propos de ce logement
Conveniently located on a quiet street in a fun neighborhood, this is a bright room in a large 2BR apartment with three separate living spaces (two indoor, one outdoor). This is a classic San Francisco Victorian in a historic neighborhood.
Our lovely 2BR/1.25BA apartment has a large kitchen, a separate dining area, two separate living spaces, and a large deck, making it an ideal space to share. We are on a quiet block just a 3min walk to the heart of the Castro (restaurants, bars, shops). The Castro muni station is a 5min walk, connecting you to the rest of the city via public transit. Dolores Park and the Mission (all the best restaurants and nightlife) are a 15min walk. And of course there is Uber and Lyft which can get you anywhere easily and cheaply. The Castro is almost exactly in the center of San Francisco.
The apartment is spacious (est. 1200sqft) yet cozy feeling and functional. There is a dishwasher and washer/dryer. You'll be in the guest bedroom, which has a full-sized bed and some space in a dresser and closet for clothes storage while you're here. There's one full bath and one quarter bath (just a toilet...we'd never seen it before, either) shared between guests and hosts. There's a 50in flat screen in the main living room, Apple TV, Chromecast, and ultra high speed wireless. The guest bedroom has it's own 36in flat screen with a Chromecast so you can stream Netflix/etc in bed. There's a separate office if you need to work while on your San Francisco getaway, including an external monitor and keyboard you can hook up to your laptop.
Please note, we do have a (very friendly) cat.
Accès des voyageurs
You'll have access to the full apartment (minus our BR) and use of the deck, which is private to the apartment.
The backyard belongs to our neighbor, so - despite the stairs down - that's off limits. The garage is also off limits.
Échanges avec les voyageurs
We're happy to help with restaurant and bar suggestions, directions, and more. We work outside of the house during the week, and are usually in and out over the weekend, but you'll have access to us via email and cell at all times.
We have a cat who is very friendly and will want to cuddle. This is not a good place to stay if you're allergic to cats!
We're a no-shoe household and would appreciate if you did the same.
We're on a pretty quiet, residential street and in a split-level building with neighbors directly below us, so this is not the right apartment if you're looking for a place to host a party or love loud music. We request you keep noise to a minimum after bedtime hours.
