This is a 1920s Beautiful Spanish style building. It's a four-plex, which means there are four units in the building.

We took great care to turn our previous apartment into an AirBnB Masterpiece:
* Re-painted the entire unit
*"We" (meaning Luis) re-finished the hardwood floors
*Installed new TVs in each bedroom with Roku
*Also provide an variety of content to stream from our media server
*Installed WIFI routers in each bedroom and the living room (no wifi dead spots here)
*Installed keyless entry door locks to the Main Door
*Installed keyless entry door locks in each bedroom (this way you will never lose the key, and will have a room that locks when you leave to explore LA).
*We bought furniture to outfit the place so you wouldn't have to put up with old stuffy furniture
*For those coffee drinkers, we went out and got you a Keurig machine so you are never out of caffeine.
*Provide soft cotton robes & slippers to enjoy while you stay with us.
*Installed small safe in each closet to lock your valuables.

In essence, we wanted you to feel like you were staying at a 5 Star hotel while you stayed with us.

Note: You are looking to rent a private bedroom in a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment. Therefore you will be sharing a bathroom. You get a discount on pricing because of this. You are welcome to hang out in the Living Room, Kitchen, Breakfast Nook, and your Bedroom. You may use the laundry when necessary but please keep it clean and don't abuse it.

My fiancé (Joan) and I (Luis) will be available from time to time. We'll be popping in here and there, but want you to feel at home and relaxed.

Autres remarques

Our Historic Neighborhood has instituted an overnight permit parking policy. We will have a guest parking pass for your room. Please display the tag hanging from your rear view mirror or you will get a parking ticket from 2am-6am. Also, make sure you RETURN the tag prior to you leaving.
If you have more than one vehicle, there are areas where you may park your second vehicle about 2 blocks away. (so it's not a big deal)

It was a pleasure to stay at the Limelight Manor. It made our stay in LA superb and unforgettable. The limelight is honestly 10/10. It was super clean, the rooms and bathroom was nicely decorated and maintained. I love how this place literally felt like a 5 star hotel stay. We felt so safe and comfortable. The place is also quiet and our neighbors were very nice and respectable. I love that the house and rooms come with an electronic combination lock which is time sensitive. Upon our arrival, I really appreciate how Joan and Luis made sure that our locks had sufficient battery to avoid us from getting locked out. We met both Joan and Luis and they're very kind and hospitable. They sure made it feel like their home was our home too. I definitely recommend staying at the limelight. I'm definitely recommending this to everyone I know. Thank you very much, Joan and Luis. <3

Loved this place. It was VERY clean and in a great Central location close to everything you'd want to see and do. The house has pretty much every amenity you could want. Would definitely stay here again.

Joan and Luis are so AMAZING!! I needed a place at 10pm because of an emergency and they were ready to help me check in and responded so quickly. They gave me an iPhone changer to use and made sure I had everything I needed and that I was comfortable. Everything was labeled and organized. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great experience! Thank you

It's been a nice experience staying at Joan and Luis's place. The whole place is clean and very tidy. Unfortunately we got a parking ticket for parking at the impasse at the end of the street, which is a reminder for other tenants at the Limelight House: just because there are lots of cars parked there at nights and the no-parking sign is blurred doesn't mean cops won't come up in the morning to issue you a big fat ticket($73!) Luis kindly offered to print out a few photos that will help with our arguments. Thanks!

Joan and I just got married in September 2016. We have been in Los Angeles since 2001 but didn't meet until about 2010.

We are a fun and friendly couple, who are excited to try hosting at AirBnB. We've stayed at a few AirBnb under Joan's account and have always had a great experience. We hope this time around we will be the ones providing a great time for others.
