The apartment had a great location: we arrived by train and went on with the ferry; both stations are very close to the apartment. The apartment itself was cute. At the same time the appartment evoked a vintage ryokan feeling. We enjoyed our short stay.

Ayako's place is incredibly convenient. Super close to the station and super close to the ferry to access Naoshima. I found her to be very helpful with all my questions and concerns. The place was kept tidy and I enjoyed my stay there. I would definitely stay there again!

This is a bedroom in an old japanese house. It will be a place with a common room to hang out, but it seems like they are renovating and puting everything together now. The really god thing is the location. If you want to go to the islands, it's exactly in front of the ferry. That is fantastic. Otherwise, I would go there only in summer and with good earplugs. It was 13 degrees in the room when I got there... Ir was horrible. I said I was freezing so they brought a heater working with gasoline. Five minutes using it and I felt like someone trying to commit suicide locked up in a garage with a car running. I used translate and found out ont the device it was meant to use with open windows and was dangerous tu run at night if sleeping. I felt like I was camping in cold weather without the proper gear. Being in the room was totally uncomfortable. You have a window, but no sun or light from the outside. Since there is no common room, you have to eat in your room (which I had to do with my coat on because I was freezing). Walls are like cardboard, you esr everything and everyone. The first night, the owners had a reception in the common room to be, under my bedroom. It was impossible to sleep because of the noise. I had to go down pass midnight to tell them I was trying to sleep. No one opened the door, someone only checked by the window and I said it by sign, langage. Didn't change anything. Bathroom smelled urine and it was impossible to get hit water to coean my hands. Since I was freezing, I never tried the shower... I stayed two days, never saw the host except when I arrived. It was totally not worth the price, if I consider all the places I stayed in my three weeks trip in Japan. I am glad I used airbnb before that, if it was my first time, I think I would neger use it again. I was waiting to write this... I don't know what the host has to say about ke but you have to know the only contact I had with her was when I got the key to the room. I honestly wouldnt recommend the place. That was totally a rip off.

Hi, I'm Ayako. I love Japanese animation, I'm a geek :D

I'm making a cosplay cafe :D
I will open it in autumn !!

I was a staff of the 2013 Setouchi International Trienniale Art Festival held on Naoshima, Teshima and Inujima Islands. Thus, I am familiar with all the art museums, exhibits and galleries on the islands, as well as the ferry times. So I can help you plan your visits to these great Islands.

I enjoy experiencing the local cuisine and culture, and love chatting with the locals. I will be able to recommend you places to eat and visit.

If you have any questions about our room, do not hesitate!
Looking forward to meeting you!
Thanks!!!!!
