This was my first AirBnB experience so I had no idea what to expect, but this made me want to do it again. The description Joe and VInita have is totally accurate... for instance in this very cute basement apartment, ceilings are a little low (including the shower) but for someone like myself, that didn't matter. And I felt prepared for that because they had stated it so clearly in description. The place was clean, comfy, well spaced out (the apartment is one long corridor, so entry kitchen then TV room then bathroom then bedroom), nicely furnished and felt safe. Towels, sheets, soaps etc (wish I'd had time to try the bath salts!) And a very well-supplied kitchen, with teas and so on. You can hear the kids upstairs and smell delicious food cooking upstairs which again didn't bug me; I mention in case any readers are scared of Kid Noises or Food Scents. :) but never once was the upstairs troublesome or disruptive. Joe and Vinita were exceptional hosts: had free breakfast materials ready (bread, milk, juice, cereal) all stocked after asking what I'd like and had it all set up in the apartment... they were very very quick to respond anytime I texted and when the Netflix didn't work (no big deal) they went all-out trying to fix it (and even asked if they could offer me a bottle of wine as apology, which was completely unnecessary!). I felt like they were attentive and caring and I never even met them! Excellent communication and availability, and provided a whole list of things to do and places to go in the hood. Getting in to the keyless apartment was easy (occasional stick on the key lock but it worked great; I was there in very cold weather) and again they made it easy with very clear instructions. The neighbourhood was fantastic for walking and super close to bus (and therefore subways) on both Harbord and College. Plus plenty to do on College too. For the price I thought this was an amazing experience. Would totally stay there again thanks to a family that cared about the client and really make it feel like your own private home. Well done!

Friendly without being pushy. I could hear the little girls in the morning- good parenting going on! Convenient neighborhood, close to where I needed to be, and parking was surprisingly easy. Appreciated the parking pass! Kitchen was a bit smaller than it appeared in the photo, and I ended up using it less than I expected, but well appointed and handy. Hope I can stay there again.

Great communication by owners. Very welcoming and accommodating. The location is awesome depending on what you desire for activity. For my son and I, being in a neighborhood versus downtown was great. Access to public transportation as well as restaurants was convenient. The property is as described, it is in a basement so the ceiling may be low for tall persons (over 6'1" or 185 cm plus). The owners do have young children so occasionally you may hear some noise related to that, but nothing that should interrupt.

Joe and Vinita are extremely helpful and gracious hosts. They have lots of great recommendations for where to go in the area, and they were always extremely helpful when we had a question. Their space is located in a super convenient area that is next to lots of bars and restaurants. Transit is not far away either. The space is very unique, its in the basement so its quite dark, but it has been decorated and organized very nicely. There are lots of lights that brighten up all the rooms. Both Joe and Vinita are super friendly and made us feel very welcome during our stay. I would not hesitate to book their place again if I return to Toronto!

Joe and Vinita are perfect hosts, always available to answer questions and give help and advice. The flat is in an ideal position in Little Italy for restaurants, cafes, shops and the street car. Lots of interesting places within walking distance. We couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay whilst visiting our son (who lived 2 minutes away) Thank you very much.

Our house is a calming place to relax and as your hosts we endeavour to provide a healthy and clean environment: organic and natural products are used whenever possible. We enjoy travel and have been to the Caribbean, South Asia, East Africa, and Taiwan and China in the past few years.

You will find a wide range of books, music, magazines, toys and other fun stuff for you and your family to enjoy while home away from your home. We have two flat screen TV's; one connected to an Apple TV and the other to local cable.

We enjoy food + drink and take pleasure in having a wide assortment of spices, sauces and other ingredients to cook and bake with, as well as some nice glasses for you to use while enjoying some wine or a cocktail on our front veranda or beautiful outdoor living room in our garden.
