Tina and Mark put much effort and enthusiasm into catering so well for our plans during our Cornish visit. They and their two small dogs provided homely hospitality on the edge of the quiet, pretty village. Their location affords an easy walk to the cheery local pub, and good access to the delightful Devoran - Portreath cycle way.

It has been a lovely experience to stay at Mark's. The room was very clean and the bed was very confortable. They served us a homemade typical Cornish breakfast in the porch that was great. Though we couldn't stay longer I'd recommend this place without any doubt!

We, myself, husband and daughter arrived to a warm welcome at Cedar cottage. This was a short, two day visit. After a long day's journey the comfortable beds were just the ticket for a quick rest before a good meal at the local pub. Mark had thoughtfully suggested booking us a table as it is popular. Cedar cottage is as lovely as the photo suggests, set on the edge of a quiet village with beautiful country views and a wide night sky. Mark and his wife are very friendly people who clearly enjoy meeting and opening their home to guests. Breakfast was so delicious and filling, that we could only manage a small lunch. The cottages location is a good base to explore this part of Cornwall from. With only a couple of days we we're limited somewhat by time but are pleased to have visited the Lizard on Marks suggestion. We hope to stay again.

Tina was the perfect host - Mark was away at the time that we stayed. My daughter and I both felt very at home during our short stay. Their peaceful home is ideally located to use as a base to explore beautiful Cornwall. Always very accommodating and helpful, I'd highly recommend a stay with them-the breakfast was a great way to start the day!
