À propos de ce logement
It is an old flat , real "retro" from eighties in an old house, with a "young" host.
Free WIFI internet.
Car parking is HUF400/h on weekdays from 8am to 8pm (2011.05.01.) and free on the weekends. Near here ( about 100m ) is a parking garage where is HUF2800 for 24h - but you have to leave there your car.
The apartment is just steps away from the riverside of the Danube, with a great view to the Gellert Hill and to the Citadella. Just right next to the bridge you will find the fabulous Gellert Spa and Bath which offers an unique experience wits its thermal pools inside an Art-Nouveau style building.
On the Pest side, some corners away you will arrive to he famous Vaci street, Budapest's main shopping street, with a lots of elegant restaurants and bars. Ráday street is about 150m away, which is popular among locals and visitors alike, worth to hang around in the night.
And if you are here, you can't miss the Grand Market, Budapest's largest indoor market with its delicious spices, meat, and of course: our Hungarian garlic and paprika ! :)
Public transportation :
- M3 metro (Kalvin Square)
- Bus 9, 15, 83
3 days ticket - Budapest 72-hour travel card ( "Három napos jegyet kérek. " in Hungarian ) HUF 8.300.
There is excellent public transportation from Airport to centre of Budapest. Just get on 200E bus that takes you to Metro 3 "Köbánya-Kispest".
I think it is better if you have an Android phone, with at least 2GB RAM nowadays, with two SIM slot (one for your home SIM card and one for your destination country mobile net SIM card ) instead of a snob iPhone (sorry for this...).
