Sunnyside/Glen Park is the location our home is in which is quite residential-so parking is not really bad on weekends. All day parking is free.House is located very close to City College you can see the football field from the decks, occasionally you can hear the whole game. Parking can be more challenging M-F when school is in session. Whole Foods and Safeway grocery stores are walking distance.
From SFO to house is about a $45 cab ride. BART (round-trip fare anywhere in the City is $3.85), Lyft, Fly Wheel, Uber, and MUNI/ bus to get around all very accessible from home. Average cost to Mission District with Lyft is $10-$15, to Glen Park Bart $5-$7.Muni bus 43 is two blocks away and will take you direct to Haight and Ashbury.
Whole Foods Market on Ocean about a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Ocean Ave has plenty of coffee shops, and eateries.
Glen Park has a lot of restaurants: French,Thai, Italian, and Mexican. You can get pretty much anything delivered too; Eat24 and Uber Eats is easy to use. Glen Park has Canyon Market groceries- great spot for on the go sandwiches and other deli items, maybe for a hike/picnic in Glen Park canyon.

A little about us: My husband and I have lived in San Francisco for about 20 years, we were renters for 10 years before we bought this home in 2006. We feel very strongly about community and giving back…that's we have opened out home to guests.
We do have a rescue dog named Lola Rose (age 6), but when we are away we board her-so you won’t see her, but watch your step in yard-as we may have missed a dogie toy.
Both my husband and I work in San Francisco 9-5 jobs. We feel that Airbnb allows us to share our home at an affordable price so guests can enjoy stunning San Francisco and this in-turn affords us the opportunity for upgrades to our home.
Thanks for choosing our home… Enjoy your stay!
