Ground floor flat in a Victorian terrace, 10 minutes walk from the station and 20 minutes walk from the town centre. Bedroom with king size bed. Sitting room with double sofa bed. Kitchen & bathroom. Within sight of vibrant Mill Road packed with cafés and delicatessens.
The flat is a well-renovated, characterful Victorian property with varnished wooden floors and a shuttered bay window to the front. We have combined traditional furnishings with modern design to create a light and comfortable space. The flat is perfect for a weekend break or a longer term working visit. We pride ourselves in trying to provide anything you might need for a comfortable stay and are particularly keen that you should be able to cook properly, so have equipped the kitchen for that. We would welcome your feedback on anything we might add to improve the experience of our guests.
We accept instant bookings up to 3 months ahead. Message us now if you would like to stay for more than 1 week up to 6 months ahead, or more than 1 month any time in the next year.

You will have the whole ground floor flat with its own front door to the street. There is an outside patio space with a wooden table, two chairs and a bench. Occasionally neighbours from the other flats may walk past as they have some shared storage space and access to their properties this way.

We aim to be welcoming and helpful hosts. We live close by and work flexibly so we can meet you at the arrival time of your choice and we will usually be around to answer questions and respond to any issues that you might have during your stay.
Broadband Internet is 50Mb. Connect via wifi or ethernet cable (provided).
TV is 32" Samsung Smart TV (i.e. Internet connected) with catchup services (iPlayer, All4) and apps (web browser, Netflix, YouTube, TuneIn radio etc)
Satellite TV channels including many in HD.
The double sofa bed is the type where you sleep length-ways, so the fold is between you, not in your back. Everyone says it's very comfortable.
Photo ID (e.g. passport or driving license) of the person who made the booking is required on key handover.
No noise late at night and no parties. This is a flat in a residential terrace.
No smoking in the flat. There is a bench just outside the back door perfect for that.

We both grew up in Cambridge and came back here after University to work and raise our children in this lovely city. We chose to live off Mill Road because it is the most lively and bohemian part of Cambridge.
We love to travel and cook and explore local ways of eating and living, so we prefer self contained accommodation. We had a great experience with AirBnb in Berlin and this inspired us to provide hospitality to travellers like us in our home city.
