Berluda is ideally situated halfway between the town of Oudtshoorn and the world famous Cango Caves. It offers peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings, and the opportunity to visit a working ostrich farm.
In the beautiful and fertile valley of Schoemanshoek, the family home of the Schoemans now welcomes visitors to their farm and heritage. The name Berluda is derived from an Apricot variety, and guests have the opportunity to harvest these apricots (December). Our famous Berluda-apricot marmelade is made from this!
