Spring is in the air here in Central Vermont. Birds are singing and busy with getting food and nesting together. Snow is melting fast and sugar season is almost over. Warmer nights and days are great for looking at the stars and going on long or short romantic hikes. Come to Tunbridge and enjoy the sounds of the river from the deck and walk across our covered bridges.
Spanish is spoken fluently here.
A warm fire in the fire place and hot chocolate by the woodstove. Our blueberry pancakes are famous with our Home Made maple Syrup. We have several listings to choose from. If it is bitter cold then the Springhouse will not be available.
Just new is our listing in Wareham MA. This small cottage is on the beach on Butlers cove. From the house you have views of the Cape Cod canal, MA maritime academy and ships and boats as they ply the waters. The house sits at the end of a short street and has a private yard, decks, and a great view of the water. If it is the Cape you are looking for book early. We are accepting reservations for after May 1st. May is booked so get into June and July early
We have the Springhouse Gallery which is part of the lands heritage. Years ago the House was a resting place for people who came to sit in the Sulpher Springs that used to be here. The Springs is gone but the Springhouse carries the name. It also sits on the Spring that feeds the house water. The gallery part comes from my love for photography. Pictures are hosted on a website that holds the name, springhousegallery com Feel free to browse.
I am a Dad of 6 kids with 1 still at home. I am a widower and airbnb helps me to stay home more to take care of family.
Things we like to do is travel, explore places and make friends. We are open for new friends and getting to know people. So this works perfectly for us. At our home we have myself, my daughter Sarah and my son Michael just returned from 2 years in EL Salvador. We love cultural diversity and learning about other people and their heritage.
As a host you get from us, folks who are as social as you might want and the privacy you want. We welcome you to sit in front of the fire and share a meal or you are welcome to be in your space with your privacy.
Life is short and we believe in making the most of each day.
