This was my second time hosting Helen, but unfortunately, this time I had to involve Airbnb to advise me with her case. Fifteen days after she checked in, she sent a message in the evening to ask for my help with cleaning her room because she had spotted a flea. The very next day we cleaned her room from top to bottom and treated for fleas - everything was treated from ceiling to floor and not a single bug was found in the process. In any case, we take such an issue seriously. Even though no other rooms in the home and none of our other guests at the time were having any issues, we still treated the situation as if there were. Long story short, we think Helen was bringing in the flea and we had to get Airbnb involved. We recommended Helen to find another place and to cut her stay short with us, we also offered a refund of the nights she did not stay. After she left we had hired a professional to treat for fleas and there was no problem. I also should mention that before Helen came, the previous guest had no problems with bugs either and left us a 5 stars review. Feel free to make your own conclusions, I'm just stating here the series of events as we found them. Helen, though she was nice other times, for this matter she behaved quite unreasonable and her review is unwarranted.
