Perfect location for a stay in Wallace. We never had to move our vehicle once as we could walk to everything. The apartment is adorable with high ceilings, beautiful wood flooring in bedroom area, gorgeous wood trim, a walk-in closet, perfectly appointed kitchen, and a nicely updated bath. More than two people might be a bit crowded but for a couple, it is perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay in Robert's home was wonderful. His house was lovely- the view was incredible, the room was nicely furnished and decorated, and Robert was a kind and generous host.

Location, location, location. Just 1/2 a block from the center of the universe and walking distance to everything. It was quiet around the area. I suggest bringing some extra pillows and towels as there are minimal amounts (2 each). Full size fridge and stove with plenty of cookware and dishes to make your own meals if desired.

I liked that the doors were all key coded so no keys. was plenty of street parking. bed was comfy, and even a NBA basketball player could stand under the shower head. :) even room for bicycles inside if need be.

Our stay in the Idaho Building was just what we needed for our short stay. But I would recommend it for any stay in the great town of Wallace, or anyone wanting to explore the Silver Valley. The size of unit 5 was just right and it was nice to see that there was a kitchen and a full bathroom. The location of the Idaho Building in Wallace puts you within walking distance anywhere in town. Robert made us feel very welcome and even have us a tour of the building and a brief history of it and the town. Would recommend any time

I grew up in Shoshone County Idaho where my father was a mining engineer. We moved away when I was in high school but many years later I bought the Idaho Building, a brick building built in 1917, on the national register of historic places, with five apartments on the second floor and commercial space on the ground floor. In the past year I have spent a lot of time in Wallace Idaho, renovating The Idaho Building, and now we have four very nice apartments available for vacation rentals. I have local personnel available for cleaning, service, problem resolution when I am not there.
