An exquisite homestead nestled amongst 5 acres of picturesque gardens with sweeping views of the Strathbogie Ranges. An easy 2 hour drive from Melbourne, just off the Hume Fwy. Sleeping up to 7 guests in 3 bedrooms.

Be welcomed by a white stone and tree lined driveway entrance with majestic gums. The home has been extensively and thoughtfully renovated with an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area with high ceilings, heating and cooling throughout and plenty of natural light. Heating is supplied via slow combustion wood heater supplemented by reverse cycle A/C and heating to living and all bedrooms along with a stunning rock open fireplace. There are ceiling fans in the living and dining areas.

Take in the relaxing panoramic views from the wide verandahs overlooking the working farm. You will even be able to see the cows grazing in the typical Australian landscape. This superb homestead lends itself so well to large groups getting together. With a spacious property on 5 acres of beautiful gardens, you will have plenty of space to kick back and relax. There are numerous outdoor areas where you can sit and enjoy a meal, a glass of wine or your morning cup of coffee.

Fancy a game of croquet? We have an authentic manicured Croquet lawn, all the specialist equipment with Gazebo viewing and courtside seats. The kids will love playing hide and seek and finding secret spots such as the rose garden, the wishing well and beautiful big trees to climb.

Fully equipped kitchen with all the modern necessities including pots and pans, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, oven, stove, kettle and coffee plunger. Dining room with 8 seater dining table, TV, DVD, DVD’s, stereo, clothes dryer, washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Guests will have access to this entire 5 acre property inside and out.

If you fancy venturing away from your gorgeous property, here's a few suggestions of things to do in the local area:
The Mt Wombat Lookout offers amazing 360 degree views of the area from the plateau on top of Mt Wombat, it's 13.3km, 17 min drive

A great place for a dip is Polly McQuinns swimming hole. Pack a picnic and use the barbecues provided whilst relaxing in nature- the best medicine for your mind, body and soul. 8.4km which is only a 9 min drive

The Gooram Falls is another beautiful spot to enjoy the views of the rock pools and water cascading over the rock . Another opportunity for a swim and a picnic and it's only 17.6km, 20 min drive from your home.

•Euroa Butter Factory, 30.4km, 30 min drive
•Fowles– Cellar Door Café (open during the day only), 65.5km, 49 min drive

Location
Fernside is easy to reach from either the Maroondah or Hume Fwy. A hidden gem just 20mins from Euroa.

Travelling via Car:
It is a 2 hr drive from Melbourne.
1.Get on M2 in Kensington from King St/Princes Hwy/State Route 60 and State Route 50. 10 min (3.9km).
2.Take Hume Fwy/M31 to Euroa Main Rd/C312 in Euroa. Take the exit for C312 from Hume Fwy/M31. 1hr 30min (157km)
3.Take Euroa-Strathbogie Rd to Main St in Strathbogie
4.Then it is just a 20 minute drive to ‘Fernside”

Travelling via public transport:
From Melbourne Southern Cross Station take the V/Line towards Mansfield and Get off at stop Euroa-Mansfield Rd/Maroondah Hwy (Merton). It will take approximately 2.5 hours. Then you will need to get a taxi too the property which is about a 20min drive as there are no other public transport options available.

Our accommodation rates are based on twin share, please let us know if you require more beds. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed in advance. Please include all adults and children in your enquiry. Children over the age of 12 months will be charged an additional guest fee. If you have babies please advise their ages also.

Supplies
We provide you with a starter pack of essential house hold items such as toiletries, dish washing detergent, washing powder, dish cloths, scrubbing brush, paper towels and toilet paper on check in. You will then need to purchase all necessities for the continuation of your stay.

House Rules
1.Please relax, unwind and enjoy your holiday.
2.Please call Lisa on (phone number hidden) if you discover any issues within the first hour of check in so they can be checked and rectified if necessary.
3.Please note Rejuvenate Stays properties are all ‘non-smoking’ properties. If there has been smoking in a “non-smoking room” you may incur a cleaning surcharge being added to your account.
4.Please switch lights, air con, fans or heating OFF when not occupying the premises.
5.If you have additional guests who wish to stay please let us know as the number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the booking confirmation or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed in advance and for the use of additional bedrooms.
6.Please note we do not accept events or parties. Any disturbance to neighbours, including excessive noise, offensive and/or unruly behaviour, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.
7.Guests are expected to behave in a manner, which is conducive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests within the property, including its car park and grounds.
Only guests advised in the booking agreement are allowed on premises. Additional visitors by arrangement only
8.Please let us know if there are any breakages or items you notice that need repair. Even if it’s a glass we would appreciate you letting us know so that we can replace it for the next guests.
9.Checkout time is strictly 10:00am, unless prior arrangements have been made. If you would like to check out later or stay another night please call Lisa on (phone number hidden).Please ensure that all garbage is taken out and if you are there on bin collection day please put the bins out as we would greatly appreciate it.
11.Please wash and put away any dishes etc in the kitchen.
12. If hired, please remove all linen from beds and place on end of bed. Please leave towels on bathroom floor.
13.Please ensure the keys that you used during your stay are left inside in the appropriate place.
14.Please lock all windows and doors when departing.
15.Please ensure that the keys from the key safe are returned after locking the door on your departure.
16.Any breach of Rejuvenate Stays Terms and Conditions permits Rejuvenate Stays to refuse the key, or immediately terminate the occupancy with forfeiture of your rent. This includes any act or omission, which in the opinion of the Director Rejuvenate Stays, adversely effects or brings discredit upon the business, owner or other guests.

Our stay in the farm was great, especially for our kids loved hanging out with misty the resident cat.spacious with pretty good beds. Having two bathrooms was also great. The lock box for check in was convenient and allowed for flexibility and an easy check in. Would highly recommend!

Stunning property - the photos don't do it justice. We absolutely loved our stay at Fernside and felt very spoilt by our host who had left us some very thoughtful surprises!
