Accès des voyageurs
10 RUE DU COMTE DE CAPRE is in a short street, just off RUE DE LA POSTE, which is off the second main roundabout in Megeve, on the main road D1212, direction Albertville, after the first roundabout which leads to Mt Arbois and the Palais des Sports, and then it is the next past the Autogare.
The GPS locating address is 200 RUE DE LA POSTE, 74120 which is the number of the end of the building named Le Manoir.
Main access is through the front door of No 10, Rue du Comte de Capré, which leads into a spacious hallway, with timer lighting switches. Our apartment is No 1, the centre door left in the corridor off the hallway. The hallway also leads to the back door, which opens on to a little bridge over the Planay stream, connecting with the road.
The main corridor serves other residents and reasonable noise levels are appreciated.
We would normally expect to Meet and Greet arriving guests, to show the facilities and amenities, and make a little tour of local services, ski lift access, etc, if desired.
On departing we appreciate the premises be vacated by the usual 12.00 hour, although we will extend that, on request and if possible.
Departing is self-service, kindly leave the key in our mailbox by the front door, marked No 1, with my name, Ronald on it.

Always available for email or telephone advice.
We have a printer which could be used for an emergency, e.g, Boarding Pass printout, etc.
Bring your own Video or Music discs - our 46" TV will play both, (Region 2 DVDs and Blu-Ray only), and we have an HDMI input cable to take output from a Laptop. Included WiFi offers a strong connection.
There is a rubber mat inside the main doorway, and we encourage snow removal from boots, skis etc to take place there or before. Outside No 1 is a doormat, and it is probably a good idea to remove ski or heavy boots there, not to take moisture inside. There are hooks in the shower roof which permit wet suits to drain into the shower floor.
There is no Free 24 Hour parking in Megeve. The least cost parking is in those streets with Automates where 24 hour parking is permitted, but from 9.00 to 20.00 charge is 1 EUR per hour, and 20.00 to 9.00 is Free. Thus 11.00 EUR per 24 hours max.
Closer designated streets are limited to 4 hours maximum, at 2.00 EUR per hour, requiring the car to be moved once or more during the day. Nights are again Free from 20.00 to 09.00. Thus 22.00 per 24 hours max.
Covered parking is much more expensive, up to 3.00 EUR per hour in the day, and 1.50 per hour at night.
The best deal is one week, (7 days), with Entry and Exit permitted, for 120 EUR, at Rochebrune parking. It is on the periphery of Megeve, but with free Navette service.
3 km further from Megeve, the Princesse lift area offers completely Free Parking, with either a Shuttle bus back to Megeve, or the Princesse lift connecting to Megeve
As a shared building of historic interest, normal noise levels are to be expected, music, TV, conversation etc, but it is not a Party Venue.
Although the principal walls are thick stone, there is enough wood construction to discourage candles, smoking inside, etc. The street is a few steps away for outdoor relaxation.
