Where do I start? This house is amazing in terms of comfort, cleanliness and amenities. Although it was raining all weekend the fireplace kept us warm, the ping pong table kept us entertained, the kitchen was clean and fully functioning , the bedrooms were spacious with extremely comfortable bedding and pillows and generally the house and the property was everything we expected and more! It is quite a drive from town (20 minutes) which isn't that far but it isn't so close either so if you forget something from the shops it's kind of a trek to go back .. so make a list and be on top of things!
The surroundings of the house is extremely lush and fun to explore, especially with the sheep on the property staring at you from a distance, there are picnic tables and plenty of scenic picnic areas if you don't want to leave the property for something to do.
Arriving to the property and getting settled in was a straightforward process with Tanya giving clear instructions on how to get there (including rest stops and road directions), and the process of checking in/out. Although we didn't need to see her or further communicate with her when we arrived she assured us that she was just a message away if we did need anything so that was comforting to know.
Being a bunch of millennial's the no wi-fi and hardly any reception aspect was a bit daunting but we soon embraced this and disconnected .. but to be honest the house was filled to the brim with fun things to do that we didn't even need internet. But just a handy tip .. if you need internet/reception go to the top bedroom and place your phone against the glass window and within a minute you'll have 2 bars of reception/internet, I was even able to make clear calls to family back in Perth!
Overall great stay, great place and great host .. do yourself a favour and book your accommodation here you wont regret it!
