Rent 2 BRs in our house (one with double bed, one with twin/trundle) with bath, look out over a (swimmable) pond & conservation land, yet be a few minutes' walk from downtown. Close to beaches, Vineyard ferry, Woods Hole and bike path. Quiet private road, parking available.

Great location - very close to charming downtown Falmouth, but with a "country" feel and view. We know the area well and love sharing tips for your visit. The Island Queen Ferry is a few blocks away, the Shining Sea bike path and a beach are about a mile away. Woods Hole is easily accessed by bike or car. Walk to view Falmouth Road Race, Cape Cod Baseball League games, fireworks, parades, etc. The upstairs of our house could be all yours - if you rent both BRs. You can also rent just one BR, in which case you might be sharing a bathroom with another guest (see below). The two would work well for a family - parents in one room, kids in the other. Bikes and a double kayak available to lend.

Guests are free to use the kitchen or just store food in fridge. Deck and living room available for hanging out.

We will take your lead on this. We love to meet people from all over and are happy to chat, but can also give you your space if you'd rather.

This is a quiet neighborhood of mostly part-time and retired folks. Almost no traffic (thanks to intentional potholes at the other end of the street!). A quick walk or bike to town.

Regular buses from Boston/Logan to Falmouth.

We offer a simple breakfast of granola, homemade yogurt, fruit, orange juice, and tea/coffee.

Règlement intérieur

No smokers. We go to bed early, so appreciate quiet by 9:30 pm or so, though it's fine if you come in after that. We just ask that you treat our home as you would your own, and not be raucous partiers.

My husband and I are both marine scientists; I recently retired early. I'm thoroughly enjoying free time for gardening, volunteering, visiting friends and family. We are daily swimmers and bikers, love to be active outdoors. We've done a lot of traveling and enjoy meeting people from around the world.
