Come rest and rejuvenate your soul in this cozy studio cottage tucked high up into the side of Buck Mountain. Soon, you'll be scheming about how to convince your boss to let you stay longer. Be sure to bring your binoculars so you can enjoy the sparkling views of the Salish Sea and catch sight of whales and other marine and bird life. Savor the beauty of the morning sunrise washing the snow capped Canadian and U.S. Cascades with colors of purple and gold right from the snuggly comfort of your bed. Enjoy views of Mt. Baker as you drink your morning coffee or tea on the porch or on the sitting bench near by. Or sit by the quiet stream and trickling waterfall under the trees just a few steps away. If it's winter, warm your toes near the wood stove in the living area or, in summer, read a book on the sunny porch. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee grinder and maker, toaster oven, toaster and a selection of local herbal teas and coffee. The luxurious king bed with pillow top is appointed with a goose down comforter and ultra soft sheets while the bath offers fluffy towels. Soak in the silence in this ultra quiet, forested setting with nary a neighbor in sight, except the deer and eagles! Free WiFi. Charming Eastsound, with many delightful restaurant choices and shops, is only a 10 minute drive, as are hiking trails and Moran State Park. Dog friendly.
