Recently remodeled basement apartment with backyard garden. Two bedrooms with two queen sized beds each (one a sleep number bed). Large closets in both bedrooms. Comfortable living area with large screen HDTV. Basic cable and a Roku. Wireless internet. Kitchen area has small apt. fridge, toaster oven, microwave, blender, crock pot, and single induction burner. There is coffee and tea, milk/cream, juices, fresh eggs and bread, jams, cereal. Squeaky clean bathroom has small shower with large overhead rain spout. We provide towels, soap, hand-crafted oils, shampoo and conditioner. Lovely space for a couple, family traveling with children or singles traveling together.

You will have access to entire basement apartment, laundry room, lovely backyard with outdoor fire pit and grill. Or relax on the front porch with old school swing or cozy dining table for two or four. Guests enter the home from the back of the house through a semi-private door. Once inside the house, the basement suite has it's own private entrance.

Michael is the consummate host and works from home. He will gladly share about the best restaurants, whiskey bars, and other must-sees in Denver (or regale you with stories sure to entertain you). Glenna loves to come home after work and share a bottle of wine and story or two about our travels (which we love to do). She also knows some good hiking trails. And if you prefer to be left alone, that is good by us. We love hosting guests - it is such a lovely chance to engage with people from all over the world. We are committed to providing the best travel experience possible.
Like most people in Colorado, we have two friendly large dogs which sometimes like to welcome our guests home. Because we live above the basement, you might hear footsteps or voices from time to time (though we try to be sensitive to guests). The bathroom is lovely and clean (but small). And the kitchen is sufficient for a small meal...but not gourmet (unless you are particularly talented).

We expect you to treat our home with respect. No smoking indoors (cigs or cannabis). You may smoke outdoors. Though cannabis is legal in Colorado, unfortunately it has become an issue for AirBnB hosts. At the request of our neighbors (who have small children), please only use a vaporizer pen (no rolled, pipes or hookahs) and you must use our back yard area.
You can't put food in sink and only toilet paper in the toilet. We would love for you to recycle (bin provided). And we have a composter.
Though we have two friendly dogs, we do not allow pets in the apartment.
