Beautifully serene property with gracious home provisions and outdoor space. Easy drive to nearby hiking. Worked well for our 2 families with 1 toddler each. Closest town does not have much to offer beyond basics but other nearby charming towns.

We love this place! It is our second visit. The woods and the beach provide everything that my grandchildren need for rest and relaxation before school starts. Lissa and Jay are so gracious and welcoming.

Our stay at Loony Hollow was fantastic -- the location is a beautiful, tranquil spot above the bay where we could relax and watch seals and eagles. Great getaway!

Looney Hollow is welcoming and well run. Lissa is a wonderful host . Very responsive to communicate with. Situated on the water, this secluded home in the woods, filled with birdsong,is quiet and magical. My family loved the evenings around the fire pit, star gazing on clear nights, listening to the water and wind gently move. All the amenities in the home were well maintained with attention to details. We noticed the bag of beach toys and a pet welcome basket. There is a dog run along the back of the home. The porch was our gathering spot but also plenty of space inside, to complete puzzles or play games provided. Thanks Lissa, for the guest guide book and lovely stay. We had a great time, on your beach and an overall wonderful stay.

This was our first airbnb experience and we are impressed! We had such a nice relaxing time away at loony hollow guest house. Upon arrival we met jay- he was very welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home. The cabin was great and very spacious, bigger than we expected . comfortable, clean, & well stocked. We especially loved the views from the deck and the private beach beach to explore. Awesome way for our family to cap off the summer. Looking forward to another visit someday soon.

This is a nice, very well-equipped cabin in a very remote area. We were hiking in the northern part of Olympic NP while staying here, and it was a bit of a drive. It would be more convenient to hikes in the eastern part of the peninsula. We liked the quiet, however. Lissa was a nice host, and left us alone even though she lives right down the hill. We experienced a power outage while staying here, which presented some challenges, but it was very widespread, and Lissa did her best to provide lighting and water. Unfortunately, we didn't see or hear loons during our stay, but the weather was pretty foul, so I'm not surprised. Overall, we'd stay again if exploring the eastern peninsula.
