===== Tony is extemely kind and PATIENT with his guests to expllain them all about transport, economy and life in Venezuela. He was not my host, we became friends and turned into a sort of financial consultant. He is located near Parque del Este, where you can jog and relax, near Altamira subway station, around 8 streets from National Park Waraira Repano that you should visit if you want to walk deep into the mountain. He even lent me a mobile phone to be communicated. Tony also coordinates transfers to/from Maiquetía International Airport in taxi and to other sites. He's an expert.

Both Tony and his apartment were fantastic. Perfect location close to all the cool cafés, very safe right by Altamira metro. Apartment very very clean with a solid wifi connection and good tv! Tony both as a host and a person was excellent. Having such a good local contact in Caracas for me was priceless. He even arranged my airport pickup. Basically if you come to Caracas Tony is the 'go-to' guy. Excellent.

Before going to Caracas, I had so many questions in my mind: the security, the financial situation, and the political instability. The host, Tony, helped me with everything to facilitate the transition to the life in Caracas including the airport transfer, money exchange, and providing a local cell phone. I would definitely recommend his place as it is very centrally located near two metro stations (Altamira and Miranda), high quality hotels, upscale restaurants, coffee shops and most importantly a safe taxi line to move around the city. He also has a reliable internet connection, 24-hour hot water, cable TV, and air condition. Overall, Tony's place is much cheaper than staying at a hotel and you get to know a local who can help you with your specific questions about the challenging life in Venezuela.

Tony was a great host. He provided a Venezuelan cell phone when my American one had trouble connecting to the local network and helped arrange drivers for more reasonable prices than I found online. The room and bathroom were comfortable and the building was very safe, in a nice neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants, shops, the metro, and with a secure taxi point on the corner. I felt comfortable enough to walk in the immediate vicinity at night, which is not usually possible in Venezuela. Tony was very helpful with any advice about Caracas, check-in/check-out was easy, and I would stay here again.

Tony's place was absolutely ideal. The location is great. It's in a safe neighborhood and it's walking distance to all the cool things in Caracas, like the park, El Avila, the Boulevard, the metro etc. The apartment itself is awesome. It's comfortable, clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. My room was spacious, private, had plenty of storage and the bed was comfortable. The biggest benefit of the apartment is Tony himself. Tony is a legend. Helpful, funny, interesting, knowledgeable about Caracas. I felt so comfortable staying there. Tony -- I miss you buddy!

As you can see I live in Caracas, maybe you have read a lot of crab about this city, probably something is true probably not true at all.
My name is Tony, cool and easygoing guy, I work for an oil company, enjoy relaxing at home, beach and mountain, I enjoy eating spicy food.
I invite you to come to Venezuela, the only thing you need to know is where to go. Here you have a local that could help you to plan something cool in town and outside town too.
I got a spare room in my flat in the safest area in Caracas, it is call Los Palos Grandes, all the facilities are just around the corner, supermarket, bakery store, restaurants, train station, buses, etc.
I have been in many places but I really want to go to Scandinavia and also South Asia, probably in 2017, This year I ll be in Brazil, Mexico, UK, and US.
