À propos de ce logement
A lovely, sunny 1805 home near fabulous skiing at Okemo, Stratton, Bromley, and Magic (newly purchased and under new management) as well as shopping and dining in Manchester and Brattleboro. Enjoy a bounty of books and games by the wood stove or on the deck in this 2,000 foot elevation hamlet.
Two bedrooms are in the original side of the home with a private bath. Guests have access to a large living room with piano and a large selection of books, mainly children's, as I am a mother of three and a teacher. There is also a cozy room with wood stove, games, and a deck overlooking a small ravine. The front hall houses a working antique Estey pump organ, made nearby in the largest organ manufacturing in the country at the time.

Échanges avec les voyageurs
On weekends I am generally available, although I have a booth at a nearby farmers market where I sell focaccia and baguettes on Saturday mornings. I am happy to provide suggestions on local points of interest, or to leave you to explore and relax on your own.
I love to cook and entertain guests. If you would like to turn this into an Airbnbnd (to include dinner) I am happy to accommodate. If you'd like to join me in the kitchen to learn any new cooking techniques, such as how to make ravioli, or fig compote, or bake European style breads, please feel free to do so.
I have two cats and a Shepard mix dog who is loud at first, then calms quickly. I am not averse to pet visitors as long as they are well behaved and quiet.
This is a strictly non-smoking home.

I am a mother of three (almost) grown daughters with plenty of space I love to share with folks. My home of 7 years is my favorite place to be in any season ~ cozied up to the wood stove on winter evenings, reading on the porch or entertaining on the deck in the summer. Puttering on house projects or in the gardens keeps me contented. I am a special educator during the school year and bake breads for farmers markets in the summertime.
