À propos de ce logement
'Ekorren', is a unique, contemporary, architectural design set in a treetop environment. It offers a haven of tranquility yet is also within easy walking distance to Hossegor centre and close proximity to the lake and ocean beaches.
We welcome everyone that has stayed in our Malvern property as well as seasoned Airbnb guests and hosts who have favourable reviews.

Unique Hossegor accommodation that is very much a 'living house' where we like to spend as much time as possible. Architect designed and recently constructed, the house has been built by a German company entirely of wood, offering a unique contemporary tree house experience. Ecologically designed utilising solar panels, hydronic wood stove and under floor heating. Furnished to a very high standard and featuring oak wood floors throughout the living areas and bedrooms.
Upon entering through a small hallway, the living area opens up to a large and very sociable open plan that is subtly divided to give distinct and individual areas. The kitchen (which is very well equipped except for a microwave as we never use one!) and dining area are separated by a large island with granite worktop.
Descending a couple of steps, the living room and 'reading area' follow the line of a custom made curved bookshelf that is well stocked with our favourite novels and reference books (English). A small terrace is accessed from the living room and a wooden curved staircase leads up to the roof terrace.
There are three bedrooms: Master with King Size bed and en suite bathroom as well as outdoor shower; Bedroom 2 with twin beds (normally joined together to make a double bed); children's bedroom with full size bunk bed that also has an extra pull out bed, as well as a cot. Additional bathroom with shower as well as washer/dryer facility. The house ideally suits 4 adults and two/three children.
Ekorren offers a memorable holiday home from which to explore this wonderful region.

You are left to enjoy your privacy but we can be reached easily by telephone to answer any questions and have a local representative who can visit the house if required.
We know and love the area and really want you to fully experience this wonderful region so are very happy to give all the advice you might wish for.
Ekorren is positioned on a steep slope and accessed by stairs which may not be suitable for all people. It is also very elevated with a roof terrace that may be of concern to some..if you suffer from vertigo for example, this is probably not your ideal place!
We have two young children who love the house and have never had any problems but some parents may find the stairs and the altitude a little daunting! We hope the photos best show the environment but please ask any questions you may have in order to book with confidence.
We hope your stay will feel like a home from home. You are welcome to borrow books from the bookshelf but please leave them where you found them.
Please try to avoid bringing loads of sand from the beach into the house. There is an outdoor shower by the basement.
We ask that guests respect the tranquility of the environment and do not disturb surrounding neighbours with excessive noise.
Check in after 3pm and departure time before 10am please.
We ask that you leave the house as you found it.
Please do not use the wood burner which is designed to heat the water when used. During your stay, the boiler will be heated by a combination of solar power and electricity.
Please enjoy all the books on the bookshelf but leave them where you found them at the end of your stay.
