This Grange-over-Sands holiday home is a perfect retreat for a relaxing break and ideal if you want peace and quiet. Ideal for walkers and pet owners, with bay views, large garden with summer house, off-road parking Free Wifi and Cartmel is only 2 miles away.

We work from Friday to Thursday for 7 night bookings, Friday to Sunday for 3 nights and Monday to Thursday for 4 nights.

Lothlorien is a two bedroom bungalow situated in the pretty village of Kents Bank on the outskirts of Grange over Sands. The property is ideally suited for holidaymakers visiting the beautiful Edwardian town of Grange over Sands and the Lake District.

We will be delighted to assist guests get the most out of their stay at Lothlorien. 'Arrive as guests-leave as friends'

Lothlorien is situated on the edge of Morecambe Bay with beautiful countryside all around the area. Kents Bank is known being at the end of the world famous cross-bay walk .

Kents Bank is easily accessible by rail with direct links to Manchester airport. Kents Bank railway station 5 minutes walk from the property. Ulverston is 15 minutes away by train where you can explore
this pretty market town with its assortment of specialist shops and restaurants. it is also the start of the Cumbria Way.

We make a small charge for pets.
Bath and Hand Towels not included.

Brilliant home to stay in. Cracking for some time away with family or friends! Owners are very accommodating and couldn't do more to help! Will definitely be staying again in the near future!

Cracking little bungalow with stunning views! Ideal for couples or small families! The place was Immaculate when we arrived and the overall stay was really relaxed and comfortable. Only slight negative is some of the neighbours park insensitively making getting on and off the drive a little trickier than we'd have liked, but that's out of Davids hands. David was great in providing us with all the details we needed prior to the stay and even when a light bulb tricked the electricity, it was sorted in no time at all. Great stay and would certainly recommend!

Thanks Jake for your kind review. We are aware of the parking issue opposite and have even widened the entry to our drive to improve things. David and Pam couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. David's page is a great taster of local things. The bungalow is large and comfortable. Ideal for 4 people, and the garden and fish pond are very sweet. Lothlorian is wonderfully placed to access Grange over Sands a lovely south lakes village with the award winning Hazelmere bakery and café (do stop in for local specialties like Cumberland Rum Nicky) and a fantastic butchers with great local salt marsh lamb. Haverthwaite steam train, Ambleside Cartmel and Bowness are an easy journey from Lothlorian. We had a great weekend and would happily stay again.

I can highly recommend Lothlorien as a comfortable retreat with easy access to the lakes. The views are stunning, the house is spacious and there's a lovely garden. David could not have been more helpful and hospitable in arranging and hosting our visit, recommending local events and generally ensuring that our needs were met.

I have lived and worked in the Grange-over-Sands area for the last 35 years and have enjoyed every moment of my time here. Living less than 5 minutes away from the property, my wife and I are able to welcome guests personally on arrival, ensuring they are settled in before leaving them to enjoy their stay.
