Le logement

Great value, modern 7/8th floor flat with private balcony and great views over Battersea Park.

With views over Battersea Park you will really appreciate this property’s 7/8th floor location (good lift!). Set in a secure block, this apartment also features its own private balcony which gets a healthy dose of sunshine throughout the day – the owners say that one of the main reasons they chose to buy this apartment was because of the spacious balcony and views.

It’s an 8-10 minute walk to Chelsea (across Albert Bridge) and the property in a good location for bus transport to most parts of central London.

The apartment sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms, there is one bathroom. Car parking is available on request.

The main hallway leads to a living area (18ft5 x 10ft6, 5.6m x 3.2m) which has been decorated in a modern style with Oriental influences. A contemporary red sofa with silk cushions and classic grey chair, combined with an antique Asian mirror, several pieces of art, modern light fixtures and a black and red colour scheme, creates a chic space that is perfect for relaxing whilst away from home. The living area features a flat-screen TV with Sky channels and an entertainment package. There is also a modern glass dining table with four black chairs that overlook the balcony and the treetops of Battersea Park.

The kitchen (15ft5 x 5ft10, 4.7m x 1.6m) has everything you need: electric oven with gas hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. This room leads directly onto the living room and overlooks the dining area.

The bedrooms are upstairs on the 8th floor. The first bedroom (13ft6 x 8ft2, 4.1m x 2.4m) has been decorated in a simple modern style and has two large windows overlooking the park. There is plenty of closet space and a ‘zip and lock’ bed (5ft x 6ft6) which can be used as a twin or double (please advise your requirement when booking.)

The second bedroom is slightly larger (13ft6 x 8ft10, 4.1m x 2.5m) and features a large double bed (5ft2 x 6ft7). With fitted wardrobes, a set of drawers and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, this makes an ideal choice for a couple. There are also fantastic views of Battersea Power Station from this room and the windows let in plenty of light.

The bathroom is modern with tiled floor, bath with over-shower, basin and loo.

A private balcony is a sought-after features in a London home as it offers a different perspective on the city and provides a relaxing space in which to wind down with a glass of wine or early morning coffee.

The balcony in this property offers views over Battersea Park. On the balcony is a table with four chairs, which means that you can enjoy a meal al fresco when the sun is shining.

There are lots of things to do in the area. Take a stroll in stunning Battersea Park which is located 2 minutes from the property, has its very own zoo and hosts events such as the The Affordable Art Fair. Walk along the bridge into Chelsea which is an 8-10 minute walk from the property and boasts one of the most famous shopping areas in London: King’s Road.

There are lots of great restaurants and gastro pubs within 10 minutes of the property too – The Prince Albert and Butcher & Grill are both well worth a visit.

Sloane Square tube (District and Circle lines) is 25 minutes on foot but the best way to get around London from the apartment is to hop on one of the many buses which stop nearby.
