They were very responsive to messages and got me all the information I needed. We arrived at the studio and all the decorations had been taken down, so it looks nothing like the picture anymore. All the accommodations were comfortable, although it was a little warm despite the fact that we had both the air conditioning and fan on. Overall, it was decent accommodations near downtown that did the job. However, if I were to stay in Boulder again, I'd look for a different place.

First the pros: You can walk to everything you need or want to do, communication was easy once I arrived and there was free parking. Could walk to Pearl St, grocery stores and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the space was a good size for one or two people. Cons: Air conditioning did not work and it was HOT all of the days that we were there. The apartment never got cooler than 78 degrees and it was difficult to get any sleep at all or do much inside, which is frustrating when you spend the day hiking and outdoors. I wish I would've paid attention to later reviews that listed the same issue and stayed elsewhere. While a fan was dropped off, it was tiny and didn't do much. When reported the aircon did not work, I was told that it did but when running on the coolest setting it made no difference and never cooled. Kind of disappointing because I selected this apartment knowing how hot it has been and seeing the other reviews makes it clear that it does not work. There werent clear check out instructions, which would've been nice to know if the garbage needed to go out, etc. I did ask and was only told where to put the key. I also was fairly certain that when I booked it listed internet, but there was none and I noticed it was not on the list of amenities, I could be wrong about this.

This place is small and functional if you are a no-frills type. The main problem was that it was over 90 degrees for the 3 days I was in Boulder and the air conditioning does not work in the apartment. It blows air like a fan, but does not cool. I texted the host to say I was uncomfortable and ask for an extra fan and they never replied, even when I texted again. Also, a lot of basic amenities were lacking. They could offer: coffee, paper towels, real (not plastic) flatware, a bedside lamp, soap for the shower (there was body wash "for men"), a microwave. Although it is not advertised as having wifi, that's a valuable amenity they could add. Also, many Air BNBs include a manual/booklet with some information about the area, local things to do, transportation, services, etc. There was no such information. I got the impression that the hosts do not live in Boulder, making them less available to respond to guests. This place would do for someone looking for a stripped down experience, close to Pearl St., private. I wouldn't suggest staying more than a couple of nights. And bring your own coffee, fan, and wifi!

The AC unit did not work at all, just blew air into the ceiling of this small basement unit. It was humid, stuffy, and hot. It woke me up each night I stayed here; I almost wanted to just camp outside - it would have been cooler. There is no cell phone reception or wifi in this unit either and poor communication and lack of help with this host caused me to be very weary about "good" reviews. No fans were provided, and their accommodations were severely lacking here. For the same price, I could have found better accommodations in a hotel.

The studio was great! Clean, cozy, and a wonderful location. We parked the car and walked everywhere while in Boulder. The directions and parking map supplied by Ryan and Shelby were spot on and made the whole process easy. Next time I'm in Boulder, I know my first choice for accommodations.
