Leafy Newlands is one of Cape Town's most sought-after and beautiful neighbourhoods. It's very quaint and residential, and ideally located at the base of Newlands Forest, with easy access to Newlands Forest, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Newlands Rugby & Cricket Stadiums and numerous restaurants, coffee shops, stores and Cavendish Square shopping center. Cape Town city centre, the V&A Waterfront and various beaches are a mere 15-25 minutes away, as is the airport.
Uber is the easiest and most convenient way to travel these days. In addition there are public transport options within walking distance. Use of your own/rental vehicle is also very convenient as there is your own private parking in the garage and in the driveway, within the secure, gated complex. Also, the location is in close proximity to the highway so quick access to the various parts of Cape Town is quick and very simple.

My husband and I live in Cape Town. I am a physiotherapist by training but now head up a social impact business and my husband is a tech entrepreneur. We've travelled extensively and have always appreciated the hospitality of the people we've met and stayed with along the way.
We lived in London for five years from which we visited more than 40 countries. We returned to Cape Town in 2009, and although we have many international favourites, we still hold Cape Town close to our hearts as our favourite city in the world.
