Autres remarques

We live in the country and it's quiet for the most part but I can't guarantee a neighbor won't run a lawn mower or other noise maker during your stay. What can you do?
I have maps, local food guides and recommended hikes. I can also direct you to a great place to eat if you tell me what you like. There are too many great choices to list.

I fell in love with this Tiny House. It's surprisingly spacious, and the view from the deck--nothing short of incredible. My favorite part was sitting out at night and watching fireflies over the field of tall grass. The location is perfect for access to Mt Mitchell. Cynthia was a wonderful host! I could have traveled to this Tiny with the clothes on my back and nothing else and I would have been fully equipped! If and when I journey back down for a Smoky Mountain trip, I will definitely be staying here again!

The "tiny" sits on an amazing property, with a small creek running nearby and breathtaking views of the mountains. We loved sitting on the porch, listening to the birds chirping. It was a peaceful get away for the few days that we were in town. The house is tiny indeed but Cynthia has provided everything that you need. We weren't expecting cold weather so be mentally prepared for an outdoor shower and composting toilet! The water heater and indoor radiant heater were both appreciated. Thanks again, for accommodating us!

I loved my stay at the Tiny! It was the perfect place to get away for a nice, quiet time. The view was beautiful, with butterflies and wildflowers during the day and fireflies and the stars at night. The house and kitchen were stocked with everything I could have needed. I had no cell reception (AT&T), but that worked well to unplug (or, was a good excuse to drive into town to check out the cute eateries and check messages). Thanks, Cynthia, for such a great place to stay and for making me feel welcome!

My husband and I came up from Chapel Hill for his birthday weekend, and Cynthia's "Tiny" was everything we wanted and more in a cozy mountain getaway. The house was cozy and well-kept; we loved the outdoor shower, and the big porch was perfect for drinking coffee and soaking in the morning light. It was an easy drive to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway, Mount Mitchell, etc... We spent most of the weekend out and about and never had the chance to meet Cynthia in person, but we certainly felt her warm hospitality. We realized this was one of the few getaways or vacations we've had where we were just as excited to get back to our accommodations as we were to be out exploring! My husband and I have been thinking about building our own small house someday as well, so it was also great to try out a small space and get a feel what kind of features we would or wouldn't want. Would definitely recommend this spot for any pair or solo traveller looking for an off-the-beaten-path spot with easy access to everything the Asheville area has to offer.

There is a fan! I am sorry that you had to be without it. I had moved the fan out through the winter and I guess I now know it's time to bring it back. There are also screens for the windows that pop in and out. Also the ladder moves so the opposite side window can be opened for a cross breeze and closed as needed. I will add these details to the page of instructions. I probably need to change out the comforter to a lighter weight cover. Thanks for your feedback and I look forward to meeting you next time. I am glad you enjoyed your stay.

Cynthia's place is incredible. The house is cozy, clearly loved, and the views are amazing. The drive to Asheville is easy and quick for folks looking to explore the city, and there is beautiful hiking just up the road. The tiny house was both exactly what we expected and so much more!

Had a wonderful stay at the tiny house- beautiful location and such a unique and fun space! The bed was amazingly comfortable- I haven't slept that well in I can't remember how long. Great spot for accessing Asheville and hiking further north. Can't wait to come back!!

I am a working mom with a tiny farm in a beautiful location with long range views of Pisgah Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Being outside is always preferable to being inside so I am always looking for excuses to be outside. My garden always needs more than I can give it but that doesn't stop me trying. It constantly amazes me that all food comes from the earth.

People's stories fascinate me so I love to travel and meet new people. I really believe that everyone is doing the best they can and if they could do better they would. As a host, I want to be helpful to my guests but I also want to give them their privacy.
