Just 2 minutes walk from the bus and train station. This simple room is decorated with natural breathable paints, reclaimed and up-cycled wooden furniture and handmade curtains and shelves.
On the ground floor, the room looks onto a cottagey street.
Your room is on the ground floor of this 10 years old cottage. The bathroom is on the same floor and only occasionally shared with your host (used for showers). Access to the cottage is down a (less than picturesque) alleyway, through a gate, into a small private courtyard and there is space in the hallway to hang coats and leave shoes.
There is crockery in your room for self catering, a kettle, toaster and mugs. I also supply a cool box for you to store perishable foods in.
There is sometimes an extra room available for more guests at an additional price - please let me know if you need a second bedroom and I'll let you know the costs.
You have access to your room, the shared bathroom and some space in the corridor outside your room. Sorry - no access to the kitchen or other rooms in the house.
I'll give you a warm welcome, will introduce you to your room and the space. I am happy to chat and meet you properly when you arrive and/or during your stay, though as I host along side my work my time availability varies. I enjoy having a friendly atmosphere in my home and appreciate this with my guests too.
The sea is 2 minutes walk away, and just 10 minutes walk from the harbour for the boat to the Isles of Scilly. Shops - cafes, food stores, local art, crafts and clothes shops are on your doorstep. With a wide range of pubs and restaurants to eat or drink at.
Practically next to public transport! Buses to the rest of West Penwith, including St Ives, Lands End and Marazion. Trains connect you to the rest of Cornwall and the rest of the UK.
The room faces onto the street, which is generally quiet, though with occasional noise particularly at the weekends when people come home from the club or pubs.
Please note directions to my place - it's tucked away where gps/ (Hidden by Airbnb) maps can't find!
