Big plus: the heated swimming pool (with child protection) in the mediterranean garden. Adjacent to
the kitchen there are two large terraces (one with thatched pergola, one completely covered), with
very comfortable Royal Botania furniture and a large sunshade, to enjoy your breakfast, lunch and
supper in the shades.
In Garrigues Saint Eulalie you can be sure of warm and sunshiny weather at least 300 days of the
year! It is a charming, picturesque village not very far from Nîmes, Uzès and Avignon, at a junction
between the nature reserves the Cévennes and the Camargue, and the Provence.
Uzès, a ten minute drive, is renowned for ist art and culture, its beautiful and characteristic
architecture, its innumerable squares, cosy terraces and plane trees. Do not forget to visit the
characteristic market square „Place aux Herbes“ (Wednesdays and Saturdays) with its regional
specialities. Impassioned local growers will eagerly offer you lots of fruits and fresh vegetables,
selfmade local goat cheese, wine, jam, lavender, fresh herbs, dried fruits, truffles (a very well-known
regional delicacy) and pottery.
Not very far from Garrigues Sainte Eulalie you can also visit an old Roman aqueduct („Pont du Gare“),
waterfalls („Les Cascades de Sautadet“) with cliffs from which you can jump into the river and hot
water springs to enjoy in a more relaxing fashion, the Garrigues, Aigues-Mortes, the Gorges du Tarn,
the Camargue (with wild horses, flamingos, rice fields,…), La Grande Motte with its beautiful sand
