The apartment can accommodate an extra person in the living room on a roll-away bed which we will provide.

Whilst the apartment is very private it is not isolated. The accommodation is modern and comfortable. The front door opens to a patio with views over the sea to Prickly Bay and beyond. There is also a garden patio just steps from the door, which is ideally situated for al fresco dining. The garden is large.

Dual voltage power (220v and 110v) is available throughout the apartment.

There is a printing service 10 minutes away by car in the Spiceland Mall.

The apartment has it's own private entrance, whilst the driveway is shared with us.

The large garden is yours to use and enjoy. There are various seating areas to enjoy the views. You may use the pool at any time (we may also use the pool from time to time). The courtyard is private.

There are clothes lines in the garden to the right of the apartment which are available for you to use if you prefer to hang your clothes in the fresh air.

Le quartier

L'Anse Aux Epines is one of Grenada's premier neighbourhoods. Although the area is quiet and exclusive, it is very central and convenient to local amenities. Banks and supermarkets are about 6 minutes drive (banks require 2 forms of identification when changing foreign currency).

Prickly Bay beach is only 8 minutes walk away.

Also within about 8 minutes walking distance you may enjoy having breakfast at Junction Cafe & Lounge or at Prickly Bay Marina.

Dinner and lunch can be enjoyed at the beach bar at Calabash Hotel, Prickly Bay Marina, Junction Bar & Grill and Secret Harbour Marina. Dinner is also available at the Gary Rhodes Restaurant at Calabash Hotel, and the University Club.

If you wish to sample some local nightlife within walking distance, there are bars at Junction, the West Indies Beer Co (micro brewery) and Prickly Bay Marina, which has a different function on every night.

There are other beaches and amenities a short drive away.

Transports

Private taxi and car services are available and local busses operate in the area. If you wish to have the freedom to move around or explore the island, we recommend that you rent a car. There is plenty of free parking space on the property if you choose that option. We can recommend car rental options.

We will be ready to welcome you to Grenada. We can collect you from the airport at no extra charge.

The front door key also fits the laundry room lock.

Please let us know if you would like us to do some grocery shopping for you before your arrival - no extra charge. Alternatively, we can take you to the supermarket after your arrival at no extra charge.

We want you to enjoy your stay with us. To this end we try our best to maintain a quiet and peaceful atmosphere for our guests, our neighbours and ourselves.

You are welcome to invite personal friends to visit but you are requested to seek our prior approval should you wish to hold any sort of party or function.

Housekeeping services will be provided on Tuesdays and Fridays. Towels and sheets will be changed on those days or every 4 -5 days. Extra sheets and towels, clothes pegs, beach bag, cooler bag are located in a cupboard in the laundry room.

Every effort is made to keep the apartment maintained to the highest standards. Please WASH BEACH SAND off before entering apartment and NEVER wash sand off in shower. Should any maintenance issue arise, please notify us immediately. We ask you to please help us to help you.

Please do NOT use bath towels, hand towels or face cloths to remove make-up.

We do NOT provide laundry detergent for your personal washing.

If you would like to have a massage, we can arrange that for you.

Guests are responsible for their own safety and security during occupancy.

Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Those who smoke outside are asked to dispose of all cigarettes or cigar ends responsibly.

The use of candles is not allowed. Garden fires of any kind are forbidden in the neighbourhood.

We regret that no refund or rate adjustment can be made for any unforeseen failures that may occur, such as electricity or water supply, loss of pool filtration or internet service or appliance breakdowns.

Please wash beach sand off before entering the apartment - there is an outside shower by the pool and there is a garden tap outside of the patio. Do NOT wash sand off in the apartment shower.

In no circumstances shall guests or any visitors of guests bring on to the property, nor use nor allow to be used any illegal substances. Inflammable gases and liquids, such as gasoline, kerosene, naphtha, explosives or articles deemed hazardous to life, limb or property are not to be brought on to the property.

Exactly what I wanted out of my stay which was for business. Hosts were kind and always available. It was quiet and clean and internet worked great. They certainly take pride in their accommodation and had several little extra touches that I appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!

Pat and Mike's place is as close to paradise on earth as you can find. They were exceptional hosts from the tiny details to the overall feel of their home. Starting with picking us up at the airport, they made sure that we were comfortable and had all the amenities we needed including U.S. outlets and a decked-out kitchen. The unit was spotlessly clean and had several areas to lounge. The view is incredible and the pool was spectacular. I would recommend Pat and Mike to anyone visiting Grenada and will surely be returning to stay with them again myself!

Pat and Mike were fantastic hosts. From the moment they collected us at the airport, they were exceptionally helpful, stopping off at a supermarket, suggesting local restaurants, and even helping with my car hire forays! The apartment, pool and gardens are stunning, well equipped, well presented, quiet and close to a nice beach and some good bars and restaurants. (Note it's a steep walk back up!) Not a lot of obvious public transport on the island so it's useful to have a car if you want to explore, we particularly enjoyed seeing the east coast. Thanks Pat and Mike for a memorable stay in Grenada!

Sunset View is in a lovely, peaceful residential location with a spectacular view across Prickly Bay and as the name suggests a lovely view of the sunset. You will probably want to consider hiring a vehicle to get out and about around the island. The house has every amenity you could wish for. A well equipped kitchen, pool/beach towels - everything you need for a great stay is supplied. Pat and Mike dealt with all our pre arrival questions speedily and well and will be a font of local knowledge for you if you need it. We have been to Grenada many times before and stayed in various hotels but in future Sunset View will be our first port of call. As long as no other Airbnbers book it when we are visiting I look forward to visiting Pat and Mike and staying in Sunset View on my future visits to Grenada.

Anyone reading reviews for Pat & Mike will notice the remarkable consistency, and that's exactly what we found too. Still, I can't help but highlight some standout features: - Location: Sitting on a ridge in beautiful L'Anse aux Epines, within walking distance to the beach. Fantastic view to the west. Don't miss the sunset! - Beautiful garden with lots of fruit trees, breezy passionfruit pergola (thanks Mike for the endless supply of fruits!) - Pat's excellent communication and attention to detail - she clearly knows what she's doing, and her restaurant recommendations are spot-on. Listen to Pat and you won't go wrong. - Apartment is well-equipped - you can almost run a restaurant out of the kitchen - Big pool! - Pat & Mike deftly balance attentiveness with respect for privacy, they want to make sure you are OK without being intrusive, but always available to help - Super nice Johnny and Claudette It's hard to express how pleasant the whole experience was, you'll have to go there to feel it. It'll be worth it.
